Findings for Statewide Planning Goal 10 (Housing)

• The proposed R-4-2 zoning district allows a maximum density of 34.8 dwelling units/acre. The Aurelia Subdivision has a net density of 22.5 du/acre (58 total units).

• No income restrictions are proposed to be placed on future development of the site.

• The City has not met development expectations to provide needed dwelling units for the 2014 to 2033 planning period, especially for multi-family residential production.

• The proposed amendment would allow the development of multi-family units, helping to meet the Housing Needs Analysis (HNA) objectives.
