UK ReachFigures from leading metrics firm Hitwise continued to record MailOnline as the top UK newspaper sites among British internet users in the month of August

Comscore figures from August 2009 also reveal the increasing amounts of time MailOnline users spend on the site per day. MailOnline’s UK users spend longer on the site per day than Telegraph, Times or Guardian users, take longer to look at each page and visit the site more often

August ABCe figures also show the MailOnline has an average of 611,588 UK unique visitors a day. This is an increase of 75% year-on-year, 1% month on month. No other newspaper site yet publishes these figures so no comparisons are yet possible.
