August 2011 Newsletter
Hello! Hope everyone’s had a great summer, I know I did! There is
t-minus 2 weeks [roughly] until we go back to school, and I’m so
excited for it! With new classes, new classmates & teachers, and
new schedules, everything should be a new experience and quite
the rush!
With that said, we need to start propagating for the upcoming year,
with recruitment of students, freshman orientation, and promotion
of our club!
Hopefully you will be able to attend my summer PCM, where I
will update everyone on things happening in the division as well!
Hope everyone enjoys this upcoming year, and good luck to
everyone!

Hello Everyone!
So as everyone that’s been keeping up with my e-mails know, I have gone to Summer
Board, the weekend long meeting we have every quarter, and just to tell you something, I
have a LOT of information to share!
Most, if not all, information will be shared at the PCM I will be having August 13, 2011
[more information on Page 6]
As the old saying goes “a picture is worth a thousand words” so let me just show you
some of the happening’s at Summer Board [there were silly times as well as serious, but
we were sure to get down to business!]
Summer Board!
Hey Guys! I’m back and with so many things to talk about for my next PCM!
We will talk
more about
this at the
PCM!
Personal Growth Integrity

young people to achieve their personal best through service leadership.”

Project Spotlight!
Remember this? I have sent this out and have only
gotten back 8 RSVPs!
*Also!* If you are not able to come, get a
representative! If you can’t get anyone, don’t be shy,
tell me! We will try to work something out, but
please, don’t abuse, actually try to find someone
before you tell me.
There was only three people at the last one, and this
cannot keep happening! Especially since I have
some new information from Summer Board!
While there was a project that I would
like to spotlight this month, there were
no pictures turned in from it,
Polytechnic High School did a Park
Clean up at Sycamore Park, in front of
their home club’s high school!
Good Job guys! Keep up the great
work, and other schools keep it up as
well! I’d love to see more spotlights
here!
No Pictures this month
I have been trying to get contact information from everyone, and this way might be
easiest to gain. As you can see below, I have compiled all the information that you guys
have given me thus far and now checking what we don’t have!
If you see your school doesn’t have something on this list [this is everyone], then make
sure you get yours [if it’s not there] and your fellow officers information! This is crucial
for me to have, since our District Secretary Ryan Nava needs to have this before the
month of October. Not only this, but I need to have all the information in before I am able
to make a roster, so get it in as soon as possible!
If you’re the president you should especially be looking through this, and making sure
your fellow officers have everything turned in, and encouraging them to get them in!
Look here to see where your school stands!
