Urban Outfitters is a well established alternative clothing, home interiors and gifts company based in London, UK. My role here included the following: – Management of a team of 3 designers. – Digital design across all channels such as display ads, affiliate, email marketing, banners, web POS, digital customer communi- cations, whilst being sensitive to local markets, requirements and legislations in UK, France and Germany. – Overhaul of the website look and feel to improve E-commerce functionality. – Designed seasonal brand and commercial acquisition catalogues with the help of my design team. – Design of landing, social, community and video pages. July 2011 - December 2011 (London, UK) EUROPEAN DIGITAL DESIGNER – URBAN OUTFITTERS As global digital design manager I have been fully responsible for all digital design, UI, UX and front end development across 5 global regions. As part of this role my responsibilites include: – Managing and training a team of 3 (2 designers and 1 front end developer) including reviews, KPI’s and yearly goals. – Working closely with the marketing, print team and digital experts to create online collateral for 6 countries - Australia, USA, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada and Japan. – Strategic planning of yearly front end design and development for the current website improve conversion rates across desktop and mobile devices. – Managing the outsourcing of front end development to overseas employees. – Organising and art directing multiple off-site photoshoots for on online catalogue. – Mantaining the day to day digital marketing needs of the company such as affiliate banners, EDM, social and website POS. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS AT 2XU – Growing the eCommerce channel from $6m to $13m in 5 years. – Designing and launching a fully responsive re-skin of the 2XU website on the Demandware platform. – Designing and developing a sizing & information app for Android based on the Ionic Framework. – Being part of a team that grew the eCommerce Australian customer database from 40,000 to 140,000. Since moving to Australia in early 2012 I’ve been working as the Global Digital Design Manager for 2XU - an Australian sports apparel company. Prior to 2XU I was working for some major retail brands in London, both online and in print. I have very specific knowledge of best practice for E-commerce and retail websites, as well as experience in producing all online marketing collateral. Habitat is one of the UK’s leading home furnishing retailers.

– Creating and maintaining design templates for onsite and

marketing collateral including homepage point of sale, landing

pages, email campaigns, editorial features and a�liate banners

across four country regions (UK, France, Germany and Spain).

– Implementation of Habitat’s seasonal brand guidelines with strong

consideration to best web practice.

– Improving the online user experience and customer journey through

re-designing the site architecture and improving the general look

and feel for their season launches.

Graham & Green are a funky interiors company based in West London.

– My role at Graham and Green encompassed many areas of design,

artworking, retouching, art direction, production and web

development.

– Catalogue design: Working closely with the Creative Director in

conceptualising, planning and developing our quarterly catalogue.

– Print: Designing and artworking all marketing and in-house material

including HTML mailshots, marketing adverts, flyers, business cards,

stationery and shop window vinyls.

– Photography and art direction: Attending all catalogue and web

photography shoots for art direction and page layout purposes.

Adhoc photographer and post production retoucher.

– Website design and development: Design of all website banners, tiles,

competition pages, animated GIFs and development of landing pages

using HTML and Javascript.
