Augmented Reality (AR) ● Closer to the real world● Adds graphics, sounds and smells to the natural world
as it exists● Users can interact with the real world, and at the same
time can see both, the real and the virtual co-existing● Users are not cut off from the reality ● A sense of presence in real world is maintained

YouTube to MP4 to Aurasma to AWESOME
“Try embedding a YouTube video into a worksheet, a book, a poster in your class, really anything. This is a great way to supplement instruction or flip a lesson. It is super easy, and it takes very few steps:➔ Find the YouTube video that you want to use. ➔ Copy the URL➔ Convert the YouTube video into an MP4. Just google YouTube to MP4. I
prefer this one: http://youtubemp4s.com/ (it only does shorter videos)➔ Download the MP4 and save to your desktop➔ When you are creating the overlay for your aura in the Aurasma Studio
choose video. Then browse for the MP4 that you want to use. Save it!”by: Daisy Marino https://staartechers.wordpress.com/2014/07/15/step-by-step-instructions-youtube-video-into-an-aurasma/

Creating Auras in Aurasma Studio
Using Aurasma Studio on your computer allows you to:
● Create more complex auras (i.e. use more than one overlay)● Use trigger images that sometimes don’t work well when creating on a
device● Add actions to overlays such as making it full screen on double-tap
IMPORTANT NOTES:
➔ You cannot fully link your Aurasma account on your device to your Aurasma Studio account (even if you use the same login information).
➔ Aurasma Studio does not work well in Chrome. Use Firefox to get all the features
