Fermilab (Technical Division) has hosted Auger Project Management office since collaboration was organized in 1995
Key roles:• Project Manager (Mantsch): responsible for construction; currently responsible
for the operation and maintenance of the Observatory. Prepares status reports to the collaboration, the Collaboration Board and Finance Board.
• US Auger country representative (Mantsch).• Cost & Schedule (Glass)• Web site admin, project database admin (Glass)• Surface Detector Task Leader (Mazur)• Administrative Support (McCook)• ES&H

Auger Project Management OfficeManagement Roles:• Supervises the operation of the observatory• Organizes technical reviews• Chair Technical Board• Serve as US country representative • Negotiated Memoranda of Understanding for operations
with 93 Auger institutions
Financial Roles:• Prepares and tracks annual operating budget• Allocates operating funds requests to Auger countries and
other US Auger institutions• Maintains team account at CERN • Maintains Finance Board documentation• Prepares financial reports for the Auger Finance Board
