Q: Are we allowed to jump or dive into the pool?A: Never! Unfortunately our pool is too shallow for anyone to safely jump or dive into it. This includes children! There are signs posted along the pool stating this.
Q: What is that thing in the pool at night?A: We have a robot that cleans the pool every night! Neighbors volunteer to either put the robot in one evening a week or to take the robot out one morning a week. This saves us many dollars! If we did not have our pool
volunteers we would be paying a company to do this job.
Q: Can I be a Pool Volunteer?A: Yes! Contact out Pool Committee Chairperson, Debby Terfinko, to volunteer. [email protected]
Q: Can we eat or drink while at the pool?A: Beverages in unbreakable containers are allowed to be consumed at the pool. If you want to enjoy a meal, please use the tables on the patio.

Ladies’ Happy Hour Friday, August 9 at 5:30 in clubhouse
Please post an announcement in the WC Times by sending email to Chuck West at
[email protected] will let Karen Heim know for the
WCK Calendar.
Ladies Happy Hour on August 9, at 5:30 PM, will be hosted by Brenda Moyer & Debby Terfinko and held at the WCK Clubhouse. They will supply appetizers, but please bring your own beverages. No reservations are needed, but we would like 12 volunteers to bring an appetizer. Please contact Brenda at 484-264-8912 or [email protected] to let her know what you will be bringing. The Ladies' Happy Hour is on again and going strong. Twenty women came to the clubhouse on July 16 to enjoy an appetizer buffet and each other’s company.
We have volunteers for August, September and October, and we invite you to volunteer, either singly, with a friend, or in a small group, to be hosts. If you’d like to volunteer to host, please send an email to the WC Times editor so it can be posted in the newsletter.
An event at the clubhouse is fine, indoors or on the patio, and an event in someone's home is also fine, as long as Covid percentages remain at a safe level. People who prefer to wear a mask are welcome to do so. For either venue, please bring your own drink of choice.
More Helpful Hints?
Please share some hints with your neighbors in the WC Times. Send them to Chuck West
What do you say to comfort a friend who’s struggling with grammar? There, their, they’re.
Why is ‘dark’ spelled with a k and not c? Because you can’t see in the dark.
I don’t do drugs any more. I can get exactly the same feeling by standing up too fast.

In order to better secure our Wild Cherry Knoll community between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM the main entrance gates on Wild Cherry Court by the clubhouse are closed. The Digi-code transmitters used on Wildflower Lane and Valley Steam Lane will not work on this gate. To open the main gate you must use the DoorKing key code box as shown in
the picture to the below. You enter the unique 4-digit access code provided to you, preceded by the # symbol. For example enter #1234. This will send a signal tone to the gate and it will open. If you have misplaced or forgotten your code it can be obtained by contacting a member of the Gate Committee. Remember to PUSH # before your 4 digit code! Since most of our residents after hours will enter our development using the gates at either Valley Stream Lane or Wildflower Lane they may wonder why they need this access code. The 4 digit gate code provided to you is useful if you forget your Digi-code transmitter (or it stops working) on the other gates. It provides another means of access to our development. For
example if riding with friends in their car and returning after 8:00 PM how would you get in? So keep your code safe in your wallet or purse.
Visitors to Wild Cherry Knoll after 8:00 PM aregreetedby a closed gate at Wild Cherry Court. To gain access to our development they should pull up to the DoorKing key code box,

as shown above, scroll through the list of names by pressing the “A” or “Z” keys repeatedly to find your last name. Pressing and holding either button will make it scroll faster. If they overshoot your name they can press the other button to go back. Once they find your name it will highlight as shown to the below. When your name is highlighted they should push the CALL button as shown. This will cause the phone number you provided us to use at the gate to ring. You will receive a call from 610-965-6539 or "WILD CHERRY LN" if you have caller ID.
When you answer the call you will be connected to the visitor at the gate via speaker phone. After verifying who they are, PRESS the number 9 on your phone keypad. Pressing 9 will send a signal tone to open the gate and disconnect the call. Please note if all you calls go to voicemail your guests won’t be able to reach you.
As noted in a recent Town Crier, the DoorKing call box will work with either landline or cell phone numbers you provided to the Gate Committee for use at the gate. This includes all long distance area codes. Visitors MUST use
the DoorKing call box! Calling you on their personal cell phones WILL NOT open the gate.
If you have any questions you may contact a member of the gate committee.
Steve Pohowsky Gate Committee
