We Welcome New Staff Members!

September 1 marks the beginning of new roles for two members of our congregation. We

welcome Mark Robinson as Chancel Choir director and Rev. Melissa Lumpkin as Intern for

Children’s Formation, as they begin serving on staff at FBC!

A Message from Mark Robinson: Dear FBC members and friends, I have gratefully ac-

cepted the position of Chancel Choir Director at First Baptist Church. I am looking forward

to the blessing of working with the choir and would like to invite any adult music lover who has a desire to contribute to

the spiritual life of First Baptist through music to join with us on September 2 at 7:30 p.m.

The Chancel Choir needs to be a reflection of the congregation at large, both demographically and musically. It is my

hope that, through prayerful study, the choir will present quality music of many different styles that will enrich the wor-

ship of the congregation as well as the choir. Join us on September 2 and enjoy the musical fellowship.

God Bless!
