AUDITION REPERTOIRE SPRING 2019 TRUMPETS! Everyone should prepare the etude and solo for their appropriate age group as listed on the ITG Conference Scholarship form. Those auditioning for Symphony Band alone will only be asked for the etude, however UMass Trumpet Studio members, EVERYONE is required to enter the scholarship competition in the beginning of next semester. Begin to prepare now! And you MUST be a member of ITG, so please make sure to renew your membership. Record yourself daily and chart your progress. The etude should be played as written on a Bb trumpet. Solos are best played on C trumpet if you have one, but regardless must be played at the appropriate transposition. Please remember, ANYTHING could be asked in the audition.
