Show Commitment Seymour Performers Workshop is committed to providing high quality performance and production experiences to its members and audiences. It is our aim as an organisation that everyone associated with our group has a positive experience in a safe, respectful, inclusive and harmonious working environment. Staging a major musical is an enormous undertaking that takes many hours of work behind the scenes from volunteers, and a significant financial investment from the organisation. We ask all involved with our productions to help support us and work together to achieve our goals. All cast members will be expected to be available for all required rehearsals and performances, unless otherwise discussed with the production team. It is understood that occasionally people may be sick or have special commitments, so please inform the director of any absences as soon as possible. All cast will be required to: ▪ Become a financial member of Seymour Performers Workshop – $10 per individual or $30 per family. Please go to www.spworkshop.org.au/membership for more information.

▪ Pay a $40 show participation fee – this helps to offset production costs such as costumes, sets, make up and the after show party. Can be paid in full at www.trybooking.com/BDIEP. Or in 4 x $10 instalments over 4 months.

▪ Agree to abide by the Seymour Performers Workshop Code of Conduct. Please go to www.spworkshop.org.au/about to read this.

▪ Obtain and provide evidence of a working with children check if 18 or more years of age – this can be obtained for free. Please visit www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au for more information. ▪ Help with bump in and bump out. Where possible we would like cast members to assist SPW with promotions and fundraising to help support our group and the Annie production. This may include participating in events and activities such the SPW Trivia Night, Tastes of the Goulburn, distributing posters, sharing social media posts and any other fundraising and promotional activities that may be undertaken.

Lyrics

Maybe You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile

Maybe far away Or maybe real nearby

He may be pouring her coffee

She may be straightening his tie. Maybe in a house

All hidden by a hill She's sitting playing piano,

He's sitting paying a bill!

Betcha they're young

Betcha they're smart Bet they collect things

Like ashtrays, and art! Betcha they're good --

(Why shouldn't they be?)

Their one mistake Was giving up me!

So maybe now it's time,

And maybe when I wake They'll be there calling me "Baby"...

Maybe.

Hey, hobo man Hey, Dapper Dan

You've both got your style

But Brother, You're never fully dressed

Without a smile!

Your clothes may be Beau Brummelly They stand out a mile --

But Brother,

You're never fully dressed Without a smile!

Who cares what they're wearing

On Main Street,

Or Saville Row, It's what you wear from ear to ear

And not from head to toe (That matters)

Easy Street

It ain't fair How we scrounge

For three of four bucks

While she gets Warbucks

The little brat!

It ain't fair this here life Is drivin' me nuts!

While we get peanuts

She's livin' fat!

Maybe she holds the key That little lady

To gettin' more bucks

Instead of less

Maybe we fix the game With something shady

Where does that put us?

Give you one guess

Easy street Easy street

Annie is the key Yes sirree

Yes sirree

Yes sirree Easy street

Easy street That's where we're gonna be!
