Possible Tracks To Consider - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFZ9g9vEdbE&feature=related

Horror Piano Theme - This music is typical of the horror genre. This is based on the sounds of wind

chimes and the creepy sounds of little girls as if someone is haunting a place. As the music progresses we hear a piano that becomes more louder. If I were to consider using this track within my trailer, I would edit it and use certain aspects. As I find the track too lengthy and repetitive, although I would use the first 0-29 seconds as this is the creepiest part of the track. If I included this within my trailer it would adapt to my story line based on the setting of a forest and the myth of the stalker who kills girls.

The House Of Leaves : Kevin Macleod – This track I would include in my trailer, based on the sense of tension that

builds up as the track progresses. This track would grip the audience around Scenes 6-7, when one of the characters is hiding and the stalker appears. This track would be used in horror or thriller films based on the dramatic sounds. ‘The House Of Leaves’, would allow my trailer to build more suspense. Therefore I would consider using the track towards the end of my scenes within my trailer.

Darkness Is Coming : Kevin Macleod – Another dramatic piece by Kevin Macleod which allows suspense to be built

up and is typical of the horror genre based on the anticipation within the beats and the dragged out sounds of people. I could use aspects of this track within my own trailer towards the Scenes 4 – 6, when the stalker becomes apparent and the atmosphere builds up around the characters.

running away. I believe this music represents tension in a situation and anticipation to get away. Again I wouldn’t use this music throughout but I would use aspects of this within my trailer. The combination of the music put together will create more drama within the different scenes and will help to combine them, showing they lead on from each other.

28 Weeks Later Theme Song – John MurphyThe theme song to ‘28 weeks later’, is already existing on the film and trailer.

Although the song may be suitable to use within my trailer. When listening to the song, it’s evident that it builds up suspension which is something that I want to achieve within my trailer. The song is repetitive but I could cut and edit the song and use it within different scene s of my trailer.
