1877
• In 1877, Thomas Alva Edison successfully recovered Mary’s had a Little Lamb. He recovered this song using only a strip of tin foil, wrapped around a spinning cylinder.

• In 1878, the first song put on a record, Jules Levy plays the song “Yankee Doodle.”

• In 1895, the Marconi invents the first radio communication from Italy to America.
