How old are you?

The purpose of this question was to show how old my target audience is, and to show the answers to the other questions relating to this age range. As the graph shows, the main age range for my magazine is 15-20.

What is your gender?

This was to see the main gender of my audience. As you can see here, the male population make up 65% of my audience, whereas the female population make up 35%.

How much would you be willing to pay for a music magazine?

I asked this question to see what people would be willing to pay for a magazine, which influenced my final decision on the final price. The most frequent answer was £1.50-£1.99. in the end I decided to price the magazine at £3.00

What is your favourite genre of music?

The purpose of this question was to find out what the most popular type of music was in the community. The most popular genre turned out to be rock, which has influenced my decision on what style of magazine I am going to make.

Would you like to see an interview with your favourite band/artist?

Here you can see that the audience wants to see interviews, which is something I will include in the magazine.

How often do you think a music magazine should be published?

This question was to influence my decision on what the final frequency of publication would be for my magazine. The most requested was monthly, so that’s what I chose.

What sort of content would you like to see in the magazine?

This question was purely to see what kind of content I would be listing on my contents page.

Do you read music magazines?

The reason people answered no to this question is possibly because of convergence, and can read the magazines on their phones.

Would you like to see a quiz included in the magazine?

This question was purely to see what kind of content I would be listing on my contents page.

Would you like to see more images or more text in the magazine?

This question has influenced how I design my contents page, and I am going to include lots of images.

Would you be interested in buying a music magazine?

This was the final question in my questionnaire, and I wanted to know whether people would actually be interested in buying a music magazine or not.
