Uses and Gratifications TheoryFrom The Uses and Gratifications theory the film
offers the audience entertainment through comedy, by being funny. But also educated them
by informing the audience about real world problems and covering themes like friendship. Our film also allows the audience to escape from their daily stresses from life into an alternate world like
our own.
Dyer’s Utopian SolutionFrom Richard Dyers Utopian solution, the film
compensates for the inadequacies of boredom and loneliness by offering excitement though action
and social networking by having diverse and relatable characters due to their heavy reliance on
stereotypes. It would also offer community allowing the audience to communicate with each other about the interesting narrative and problem
solving aspects.

narrative offers problem-solving and mystery to its audience. The audience can connect with each
other and talk about the film giving them confidence on the subject improving their self esteem. It also taps into the need for love and belonging by being a family friendly movie that
