What's the worst music video you have seen

Do you personally think a music video makes the song memorable, why?

This was one of the most important questions, as it was important for me to find out what my target audience(youths) expected from a music video. As without this I could have created a music video which wouldn't’t appeal to my target audience

It was important for me to understand the relevance of music videos to target audience. It would be significant in what I include and how I make my music video

Overall from the audience feedback I got a picture of what was wanted and expected from a music video. Which was a sense of ‘entertainment’, ‘fun’ and that the atmosphere of

the song is visible in the music video. ‘I don’t have may expectations apart from the atmosphere a video might

have’.

This was instrumental and significant in how I created the music video. A point that cropped up a lot was that they

would only see a music video if they liked the artist or the song. Showing me that the music video I created would

provide a platform for the artist to further showcase them as an individual to their fans. It meant I made the conscious

effort to make sure the location (E.G.) all the locations were in a forest theme enforcing the country indie imagery

constantly seen in indie pop. Costume (E.G.) I tried to visually try and link the indie atmosphere of the song into

the clothing trying to portray a young indie artist Content(E.G.) to create make the video fun and

entertaining I used facial expressions, change of costume and different shot locations . All of this enforced the links

back to our song our Artist and the indie pop genre.
