How it worksWhen the device detects a vehicle idling in park, it engages by shutting the engine down. Electrical systems remain online while the engine is off, thereby saving fuel. The engine is automatically restarted if electrical or temperature thresholds are reached or if the driver puts the vehicle in gear.
