1. PurposeThepurposeofthisdocumentistodetailtheenhancementsimplementedinthev4.0releaseoftheAudaEnterpriseGold(AEG)application.Thechangeshavebeenmadeasaresultofindustrychangesandgeneralimprovementsthathavebeenidentified.

2. EnhancementsAnumberofenhancementshavebeenmadetoexistingfunctionalitywithinAEG.Thisdocumentexplainsthechangesanddirectionsofuse.

2.1 AudaGraphics Repairoptimisation

Thisfeatureistohelpsupportcosteffectiveestimatesandcorrectrepairmethodology.Therearetwopartstothefeature:RepairtoRenewandRenewtoRepair.Thefeatureenablesapromptwhenyourcustomparametershavebeenexceeded.TheparametersyousetaresavedandwillapplyeverytimeyouopenyourAudaGraphics.TheparametersaresetandchangedfromwithintheAudaGraphicsscreen.Thisfeaturerequirestheassessmenttobecalculatedbeforebeingavailable.

WithinAudaGraphicsisasettingsicon inthetoolbar.Onselection,youwillbedisplayedapopupscreen.YouwillnowbeabletoconfiguretheRepairoptimisationsettings.

Withinthepopupscreenaretwocheckboxes:‘ItoEoptimisationenabled’and‘EtoIoptimisationenabled’.Withthecheckboxesselected,anumerical(percentage)datafieldandanumerical(currency)datafieldbeneatheachselectionbecomeactive.ItoEoptimisation‘REPAIRtoRENEW’:Withapercentagefigureentered,thefeaturewillpromptyouifthecostoftheWUsyouentertorepairapartexceedsthepercentage(youenteredinthesettings)ofthemanufacturerspartsprice.



Withintheprompt,youcanselecttocontinuewithyourchosenrepairmethodorswitchtoarenewmethod.IfyouselecttoignorethepromptthentherepairmethodandWUsyouinitiallyinsertedwillstillapply.Ifyouselecttoswitchtotherenewmethodthenthepromptwillcloseandtherenewmethodwillbeselectedinsteadoftherepairmethod.i.e.:Costtoreplacethepartis£474.49ItoEparameteris90%.Labourrateis£20.00p/hrIfyouselecttheparttoberepairedandenter300WUs,youwillbepromptedbecausethelabourcosttorepairthepart(£600.00)exceeds90%ofreplacingthenewpart.

EtoIoptimisation‘RENEWtoREPAIR’:Thefigureenteredwillbeaminimumpartprice,thefeaturewillthenpromptyouifyouselecttorenewapartwherebyitsmanufacturernewpartpriceisequaltoorhigherthanthisvalue.Withintheprompt,youwillbeshownhowmanyWUscanbeselectedforthesamepriceasthepartsprice,youcanselecttocontinuewithyourchosenrenewmethodorswitchtoarepairmethod.Ifyouselecttoignorethepromptthentherenewmethodwillstillapply.IfyouselecttoswitchtotherepairmethodthenthepromptwillcloseandyouwillbeaskedtoentertheamountofWUsyourequiretorepairtheparti.e.:EtoIvalueis100.Costtoreplacethepartis£474.49IfyouselecttheparttoberenewedthenyouwillbepromptedbecausetheCosttoreplacethepartexceedstheEtoIvalueentered.



TheReplacementcostsareequaltotheManufacturersnewpartprice(incself-generatedparts)andthecostofthePanel/MechanicalLabour.

Parts/WorkCompositionTosupportaccuraterepaircostcalculations,PartsCompositionallowstheabilitytoidentifyandde-coupleauto-generatedpartsatthetimeofselectionwhilstWorkCompositionwillidentifythelabourgeneratedduetotheselectionyoumade.WithinAudaGraphicsthereisanewicon withinthetoolbar.Onselectionoftheicon,Parts/WorkCompositionwillbecomeactive.WithParts/WorkCompositionactive,youwillreceiveapopupscreeneverytimeyouselectapartfor‘Renew’.

Withinthepopupscreen,thetopsectionwilllistthePartsthataretraditionallyauto-generated,theGuideNumber,Description,PartNumberandPriceareshown.Withinthebottomsectionyouwillbeshownthelabouritemsgeneratedbyyourselection.



Youareabletode-coupleanyautogeneratedpartbyde-selectingthecheckboxtotheleftofthepart.BythenselectingOKthede-selectedpart/swillnowbeseparatefromtheoriginator.

Thepartwillstillbeselectedforrenewbutwillhavetheirpriceadjustedto£0.00,thepartnumberisretainedinreportsandthepricechangewillbeshownasamutatedprice(*).Ifrequired,thepricecanthenbeindividuallyadjustedwithintheitemsapplicablegraphicalzone.

ByenteringthechecklisttabwithinAudaGraphicsyouwillseethelistofitems.Anypartsstilllinkedtoitsoriginatorwillnotappear.Anyde-coupledpartswillbeshownseparatelywithintheirapplicablezone.Thepricecanalsobeadjustedhere.

Someitemsthatareusuallyself-generateddonothavealocationwithinAudaGraphics.Theseitems,ifde-coupled,willappearasaCorrectionEntrywithinthechecklisttab.Thepricesofthesepartscannotbechangedfrom£0.00.

RepairTipsWithinAudaGraphics,youareabletoselectthea iconwithinthetoolbarorwithintherepairoperationselectionmenu.RepairtipsaresourcedfromtheVehicleManufacturer,thesetipsareprovidedtoadviseyouofpossiblequeries,alertsorgeneralinformationofwhichmayhelpyoubuildamoreaccurate,firsttimeestimate.Onselectionoftheiconwithintherepairmethodsmenu,aPDFwillbeopenedwiththerepairtipdetailsforthatparticularguidenumber.



RepairtipscandifferbetweentheleftandrightsideofthevehicleanddonotapplytoallManufacturers,ModelsandParts.Onselectionofthetoolbaricon,youwillbedisplayedapopupboxfromwhichyouwillbeabletoviewalltherepairtipsthatapplytotheguidenumbersyouhavealreadyselectedrepairmethodsfor.

Onselectionofarepairtip,aPDFwillbeopenedthatcontainstherepairtipdetails.

2.2 capValuationThebelowappliestoRepaireraccountsonly.TheusageofcapValuationisapremiumservice,formoredetailspleasecontactyourAudatexAccountManager.WithinAEGthereisadditionalfunctionalitytobeabletoretrieveavehiclevaluationfromcaphpiattheclickofabutton.ThevaluationisadministeredwithinanewmenuoptionnamedValuationwithintheVehicleDetailssection.ThismenuoptionreplacesthepreviousRepairertoEngineerDownloadpage.



TheValuationpageincludesthesamefieldsastheRepairertoEngineerDownloadpagebutwithaddedfunctionality.WithintheValuationmenuyouwillbedisplayedanewsubsetoffieldssothatavehiclevaluationcanbeadministered.

• RegNoThisisaread-onlyfieldthatdisplaystheregistrationofthevehicleaspertheGeneralDetailspage.Toretrieveavaluationfromcaphpithisfieldismandatory.Thevaluationisbasedontheregistrationnumberofthevehicleandnotthemodelyouhaveselectedinmodelselection.

• AccidentDateThisfielddisplaystheDateofAccidentaspertheGeneralDetailspage,iftheAccidentDateisadjusted,theGeneralDetailswillupdatetomatch.Toretrieveavaluationfromcaphpithisfieldismandatory.

• Mileage



ThisfielddisplaystheMileage–OdometeraspertheConditionDetailspage,ifthemileageisadjusted,theConditionDetailswillupdatetomatch.Toretrieveavaluationfromcaphpithisfieldismandatory.Thevehiclevaluereturnedwillbebasedonthismileage.

• RepairCostThisisaread-onlyfieldthatwilldisplaytheGrandTotalincVAT,ifacalculationisdone.

• PreAcc.ValuationThisfieldisthesameasthePreAcc.ValuationfieldpreviouslyfoundwithintheRepairertoEngineerDownloadpage.Thisfieldcanhaveamanualfigureentered.Abuttondisplayingthe‘caphpi’logoisshowntolefthandsideofthePreAcc.Valuationfield.Onselectionofthebuttonyouwillbedisplayedapopupmessagetoconfirmtheacceptanceoftheapplicablecharges.Ifyouaccept,thePreAcc.Valuationfieldwilldisplaythevaluationretrievedfromcaphpi.ThevaluationtypeshownwiththePreAcc.ValuationfieldwillbedisplayedwithintheValuationTypefield.Thepossibleresultswillbe:

o capValueThiswillbeshownifthecaphpibuttonhasbeenused.ThevaluereturnedistheRetailAskingprice.

o Manual

Thiswillbeshownifyouhavemanuallyinsertedavalue.

o InsurerThiswillbeshowniftheInsurerhasinsertedavalueintheirPreAcc.Valuationfieldandsenttheassessmenttoyou.Thevaluationcanbeoverwrittenifrequired.

Ifnovalueisavailableforthevehicle,themandatoryfieldsarenotcomplete,theserviceisunavailable(duetointernetconnection,etc.)oryoudonothavethecorrectpermissionsyouwillbeadvisedsoonselectionofthecapValuebutton.IftheValuationType,capValuehasbeenselected,onchanginganyofthedatafields(DateofAccident,VehicleDetails–RegNoortheMileage-Odometerfield)youwillbepromptedtoadvisethatyourcapValuewillbecleared.Youcanselect‘OK’tocontinueandthePreAcc.Valuationfieldwillbeclearedoryoucanselect‘Ignore’andthePreAcc.Valuationfieldwillbeleftwithitscurrentfigure.IfavalueisenteredintothePreAcc.ValuationfieldonapreviousversionofAEG(v3.9orprevious)andsenttothenewversion(v4.0)thenthefieldwillbepopulated.TheValuationTypewilldisplay‘Manual’.



ThedatawithinthePreAcc.ValuefieldwillbesharedonsendasperpreviousversionsofAEG.TheTotalLosscheckboxisusedtoflagtheassessmentasapotentialtotallosstoanInsurer.Thischeckboxactsthesameasitdidprevioustothisversion.

AudaGraphicsTotalLossRunningTotals(%PAV)ThisfeatureislinkedtothePreAcc.ValuationfieldwithinAEG,ifavalueisinsertedintothePreAcc.ValuationfieldinAEGpriortoAudaGraphicsbeingopenedthenthevalueisdisplayedontheleftsideoftherunningtotalsdisplaybar.YoucanonlyinsertavaluebyusingthePreAcc.ValuationfieldinAEG.IfthevalueinthePreAcc.ValuationfieldisremovedorchangedthenAudaGraphicswilldisplaythenewValuationalso.Withafiguredisplayed,thebackgroundofthefieldwillchangebetweenGreen,YellowandRed.Asyoubuildyourassessmentthevalueiscomparedtotherepaircostandwillchangecolourastherepaircostgrowshigher.Thecolourchangesoccurwhen:Green–whenrepaircostis59%andbelowofthevehiclesvalueYellow–whentherepaircostisbetween60%and85%ofthevehiclevalueRed–whentherepaircostis85%andabovethevehiclevalue



2.3 SalvageCodeofPracticeThebelowappliestoInsureraccountsonly.

SalvageCategoryListofValuesThesalvagecodesareselectedfromalistofvalueswithinanInsurersAEGs‘TotalLossDetails’screenfromthedropdownbox‘SalvageCategory’.Thislistofvalueshasbeenupdatedtoinclude2newcodes.Thenewcodesare:N–Non-StructuralDamageS–StructuralDamage

AEGalsoallowstheselectionof:

• A–Scrap• B–Breaker• C–RepairableTotalLoss• D–RepairableConstructiveTotalLoss• W–TotalLossDenotedbyRepairer• X–StolenRecovered• Z–StolenNotRecovered

AssomecustomerswillstillbeusingthepreviousversionoftheAEGsoftware,usersofthenewclientwillrequiretoopenassessmentscreatedontheoldclientandusersonthenewclientmustbeabletoreceiveassessmentsfromtheoldclient.Thetablesbelowshowhowthecodeswillmapbetweenthenewandoldclient:



Ifauseronthenewclientselectsoneofthenewcodes(NorS)andsendstoauserontheoldclientoropenstheassessmentontheoldclientthentheassessmentwilldisplayblankintheSalvageCategoryfield,theassessmentwillmemorisetheTotalLossstatusoftheassessment.IftheenduserisanInsureraccountandwouldliketochangetheassessmentstatusfromTotalLossthentheywillhavetoselectoneoftheiravailablecodesandthenre-selecttheblankoption,thiswillresettheassessmentstatustoInterim.ThecodesCandDarenolongerpartoftheABISalvageCodeofPractice.Toallowuserstoupgradebutavoidanyissuesthesecodeswillstillbeselectableandcontinuetoworkastheydocurrently.IfCorDareselectedyouwillbedisplayedapopupmessage:

YoucanselectOKandthepopupwillcloseandproceedwiththeassessmentorchangethecodetoanother.TheAudaMailsbelowallowaSalvageCategorytobeselected:

• SalvageNotification• EngineersSalvageMessage• SalvageInstruction

Thenewcodeswillalsobeavailableandthesameruleswillapply.

AppropriatelyQualifiedPersonIDFieldInthefuture,auserselectingasalvagecodewillberequiredtohavehadparticulartrainingtoobtainaqualification.TheusersQualificationIDwillberequiredtobeinputatthetimeofasalvagecategoryselection.AnewfieldcalledAQPIDhasbeenaddedtotheTotalLossDetailspage,locatedbelowtheSalvageCategoryfield.TheAQP(AppropriatelyQualifiedPerson)IDformatissetto2lettersfollowedby5numbers,noleadingorembeddedspaces/charactersareallowed.The2lettersmustbe1stand2ndintheIDsequenceandlettersA-Zonly.The5numberswillfollowand0-9areallowed.Example:AB12345
