General Rules

The following rules were developed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and in hopes of making this project safer and more enjoyable for all of our tenants. If you have any additional comments or suggestions, please let us know. We do appreciate your business and hope to continue serving you. STORAGE SPACES:

The storage space is rented by you and is to be used only for storing LEGAL GOODS. The space is not to be used as a RESIDENCE, a place for COOKING, a place for ENTERTAINMENT, a place for HOUSING PETS, or as a place of DOING BUSINESS of any nature (including repairing, cleaning, or otherwise working upon motorcycles, cars, boats or other vehicles, equipment or apparatus of any kind). Renters must not use the premises for unlawful purposes. GATE HOURS:

The gate hours are subject to change. Please comply with the posted gate hours (7: AM to 7: PM Daily) or as assigned by the project manager. Enter your code each time you enter, to turn off alarm. Enter your code each time you exit, to turn on alarm. Do not follow anybody else unless you are going to the same space they are. If you get locked in after the posted gate hours, there is a $100 charge. Leave your vehicle until the following day, vacating through the emergency exit. You may be subject to additional charges if you are delinquent in your rents. Refer to your Rental Agreement. Partial payments on delinquent rents will not be accepted without written agreement. SMOKING:

NO SMOKING in the office or in the restrooms or inside the buildings or storage spaces. Please pick up cigarette butts.

LOITERING:

Tenants and your helpers must remain in the area of your own storage space. DO NOT ENTER OTHER PORTIONS OF BUILDING(S), NOR WANDER ON THE PROJECT GROUNDS. This includes "cruising" the project. Parents are responsible for keeping their children with them at their space. Do your business; excessive time on grounds is prohibited. SPEED LIMIT:

The posted speed limit is 5 MPH. PARKING ON FACILITY:

No parking of vehicles is permitted except for loading and unloading. Please park close to your unit to allow other vehicles to pass. Any vehicles parked on facility grounds after closing will be considered abandoned and will be towed at your expense. RESTROOMS:

RESTROOMS ARE AVAILABLE by the office. Anyone caught using any building, doorway, and hall or anywhere on the project grounds for such purposes will be subject to immediate eviction.

STORAGE OF MOTOR VEHICLES POLICY:

All stored motor vehicles must be road worthy and operable. The vehicle registration must be presented at the time of move-in and employees will record or copy said registration information on a form provided by the company. Gas tanks are to be half full at all times. The vehicles must not leak oil or other fluids. SECURITY:

ALWAYS use both the ENTRANCE and EXIT keypads to record, yourself on and off the project. No tailgated entry. For your security, DO NOT GIVE YOUR ACCESS CODE TO ANYONE ELSE! North Auburn Self Storage assumes no responsibility to monitor individuals with access cards and reserves the right to verify Occupants identity. BOLT CUTTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PROJECT GROUNDS. If a lock cut is required, THE TENANT ONLY must sign a request, and there is a lock cut charge to be determined by Management. Anyone caught with bolt cutters is subject to immediate eviction. You are allowed only one lock on the unit.

LITTERING: Please remove all litter and trash from outside of your storage space. Do not litter on project grounds. This includes leaving items by the Dumpster. There will be a minimum charge of $100.00 for disposal of items left upon vacating and/or for items left outside the Dumpster. There is video surveillance of the Dumpster area.

Auburn Self Storage

General Rules Cont. PETS:

Auburn Self Storage does not allow any animals in the business office, except for Service Assistance/Guide Dogs, at any time. Animals are not to roam around the property at any time. Customers must keep animals in their vehicles at all times.

VACATING:

When vacating your unit, give a 10-day written notice. We have a one-month minimum rent requirement, and will not pro-rate or refund the first month’s rent. No partial month’s rent will be refunded. We will, however, pro-rate a customer’s last month’s rent provided they give us at least 10 days written notice. All property and locks must be removed by vacate date. There will be a MINIMUM dump fee of $100 if Auburn Self Storage has to remove and dispose of any property left behind by you, this will be added to your account and is to be paid within two weeks of vacated date or will be sent to collections.

TERMINATION: Foul and abusive language or threatening behavior towards our staff WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Any behavior of this sort will result in being asked to leave the premises or eviction.

Management reserves the right to adopt any additional reasonable rules they deem necessary. If you have questions, please contact us, we are here to help.
