Life is a canvass upon which we place the aspirations of our soul. These aspirations come in from a myriad of angles and yet if we are circumspect we may refine these aspirations turning them into points of acute focus.

Therefore we are called upon to consciously direct that focus in the directionsthat will reveal the very thing we have become focused upon. The objective of every focus is its intention. This is what carries us through to the final demonstration of that focus.

In any given moment what you making is what you are seeking. If you adhere to your vision then you will see it take shape in front of you. Where your thoughtsare in the moment is where you may determine in what direction your experienceswill be taking shape.

The key to all of these inward journeys is to remember to choose holiness at every turn in the road. What this means is that you are to establish within that Mishkan that is spoken during this week's portion Ki Tisa taking the same care to fill in the details of holiness that the Torah describes in its inner and outer coverings.

Look at the work going forward as a progressive creation that takes on the unique characteristics of your thinking and the aspect you strive for in terms of holiness. Let's look deeper into our holy connection to understand more fully whatis going on.

Imagine a King who has a vast kingdom where all of the people live in the cities and very few in the outlying areas, the wilderness containing forests and farmland. It is a rich country but no one resides there.

The King realizes that if all of his people exist close packed as they are there will soon be an epidemic of starvation since the lands around the cities have been gleaned of their harvest.

What the King proposes is to reward any who make their homes out in the wilderness and work the farmland. He promises a bounty a good price for the farm produce they raise there. The people then enthusiastically move away from the citiesmaking for a stabler environment in which all are fed abundantly so that prosperity rules the land.

Consciousness is filled with those close packed thoughts all to familiar to us.If we do nothing then decay is inevitable. However, if we seek holiness then w

e come back with higher thoughts that seed the status quo with the fresh breathof new ideas enlivening the mix and making for a more fluid environment both within and without.

When you extend your thinking on high you gain a familiarity there which you otherwise would have missed out on. Your ideas then become infused with this holiness and become by degrees lifted up.

At a certain point then as a result of this lifting up what has been common place for you is no more. Your thoughts then proceed from holiness adding to the momentum that produces the experiences that reflect upon that holiness. B"H.
