• Treasurer’s report - see attached. Mary reports needing to file 2014.2015
financial information by 11/1/15 and State PC form due 12/1/15. ▪ Planner sale update ~ $3500 ▪ Ad money ? > $1100 ▪ New contact signed by Gail Tenney for 500 copies. She negotiated
a better rate then previously offered to us for 450 books.
• Vote for Officers – VP, Secretary (Gail president, Paula interim treasurer) ▪ Mary Sanger stepping down at the end of November. Paula Pretty
nominated and unanimously voted in as Interim Treasurer effective 12/1/15 while a new Treasurer could be found.
▪ Kathy Ventullo nominated and unanimously approved as Secretary effective 11/1/15.
▪ Mary Lasdin nominated and unanimously approved as Vice-President effective 11/1/15.
▪ Christine Shapiro volunteered to be trained as new Treasurer. Nomination and unanimously approved that Paula Pretty and Christine Shapiro would be Co-Treasurers 12/1/15 and Mary Sanger would be available to assist with the transition.
▪ Heidi Hastings nominated and unanimously approved as Community Liaison effective 11/11/15.
• Snack Shack ▪ Football games:
• Oct. 23, Thanksgiving, potential play-off games o Planning on extra game this Friday against
Newburyport.

o Eric reports football team is doing well and if they win this week, they will be in the playoffs. We can expect to have up to 2 games depending on how well the team does.
• ~ $875 sales last game
o $160 in cash donations, so far o Purchases from donations have been allocated on
sign-up genius and credited to those who donated the money.
o Sign-up Genius has been helpful in getting new volunteers to assist with the shack.
o Presently have a good supply of beverages, depending on how many more games we have and the weather. Sell much more hot chocolate on cold nights.
• Needs /food for Thanksgiving
o Suggestions of chili/chips, clam chowder, apple crisp made
o Rich Lasdin will call Lynnfield for their suggestions and check out Wakefield’s snack shack at MICCA.
• MICCA finals / breakfast before departure - 32 kids ▪ Lasdins bringing hot chocolate for breakfast and water for the bus ▪ Gail M bringing 2 boxes of coffee, 3 dozen donuts ▪ Christine bringing cups and juice ▪ Heidi bringing 3 dozen bagels and cream cheese ▪ Christine Shapiro bringing juice ▪ Liane Gonzalez bringing bananas ▪ Concern about little protein however this was the food the kids
wanted. ? Kathy bringing yogurt • Concert uniform fittings?

▪ MICCA Finals, Lawrence Oct. 25 report time: 7:30 am Veteran’s Memorial Field in Lawrence, MA. $15/10 admission. 1:45 Awards.
▪ Veteran’s Day - Band only. Report time 10 am
▪ Districts update – no one from band attending districts.
• HS Chorus/Masquers ▪ Musical - A Christmas story
• Fundraising - Hornets/Candy Canes • Check Oriental Traders for mini Santa Hats? Blue scarves? • Carnations/Flowers - red/green/white/blue • NRMB placing a full page ad in the datebook. Will ask Marci
Bailey to design.
▪ District auditions – 5 vocalists attending, 4 females, 1 male. Carla Lister driving. Allison collecting checks from students, Mary Sanger wrote a check to cover the audition fees ($13 x 5= $65 in one check in exchange for student checks). Students pay for initial audition, Music Boosters covers the fee if they are invited to audition for the next level.

• Working on a video audition for WGBH competition
▪ Performing Arts trip
• Approximately 45 students attending, chaperones make the list over 50. Allison saved money on airfares by dividing in to 2 groups.
• Several classes arranged. Marching Band performance is uncertain at this time (? Uniforms/equipment).
• Deposit/payments will be handled by the School Department.
• Eric/Allison looking in to a Gray Line affiliate for better bus pricing in FL.

• Parents group is running several fundraisers. Kathy Ventullo running two events and maintaining sales spreadsheet.
o Yankee Candle o Wrapping Paper
• Liane Gonzalez coordinating comedy night on behalf of Music Boosters to help raise money for the trip. Discussions regarding on logistics of running the event. A suggestion was made that NRMB sponsor the event and the parents of students attending the troop would actually run the event. NRMB to donate $1500 to sponsor the event so that all proceeds will benefit the trip. This plan was unanimously passed. Tickets will be sold for $25 pp. and will include the comedy show and pizza.
