Input Student Absences by Period

Record absences for a group of students by entering student numbers and absence types for students who share the same period.Attendance definitions need to be set so that absence is variable by number of periods absent. (Option 3 under Attendance Options)Set the amount of absent membership that should be given for each period absent during the day.The amount of attendance for each membership day is determined by the number of times a student is absent.

Can only add daily absence reasons for students that have already been assigned an absence type in:

Add absence types & absence reasons for each student who appears on a teacher’s roll.This option displays a list of all students scheduled into one or more of a teacher’s classes for a specific term and period.Must have course, section, and period defined in the master schedule.Attendance options for the school need to be set so that absence is variable by reason.

Maintain Course Attendance by Student

Use this program to maintain period-by-period absence and tardy information for an individual student, based on course attendance.The system verifies course and section information entered against the master schedule.System will display an error message if conflicts are detected with course, section or period.Attendance options for the school need to be set so that absence is variable by reason.

Maintain and Print Detailed Absence

Use this program to maintain student absences by individual students.Shows detailed list of student absences throughout a specified date range.F15 will immediately send the all the dates and detailed absences for those dates to the outque.F17 will allow the addition of absences or add, change, delete or lookup can be done on any particular date in the student’s record.
