I) access to water [2m]!Kung Bushmen collects water from the rain and from underground sources, whereas Singaporeans have access to water supply from our taps which channels water from our reservoirs.

!kung Bushmen access to their water supply through gathering fruits and berries, however Simgaporeans access to their water supply by buying bottled water and canned drinks.

!Kung Bushmen access to food by hunting animals, gathering berries, fruits and nuts from the wild. This is in contrast to the Singaporeans that access to food by buying raw or cooked food from markets and food stalls.

!Kung Bushmen adapt to the environment by making few changes to it, and use the resources that they can find. On the other hand, Singaporeans modify much of the environment to suit their needs and transform the country to a city without much adaptions to the environment.

I prefer the !Kung Bushmen lifestyle because they live in a natural setting and did not modify the environment. They are also able to adapt to the living conditions in the Kalahari desert.

I prefer the Singaporean lifestyle because there are facilities and amenities provided. There is easy access to food and water, as well as convenient transport and high technology being used.

Man has polluted the environment through air, water and land pollution. This is done through the emission of harmful gases, discharge of toxic substances as well as improper treatment of waste materials.

Man has used up valuable resources such as minerals, timber, coal, fossil files through mining.
