ATP - A Legacy of Innovation• 1970s

• ATP was founded in 1973 with an innovative idea of building a single-source knowledge service to support aviation maintenance operations. One

year later (after operating three shifts 24 hours a day) the company delivered the initial library product to our first three customers. That product was the “Complete Light Aircraft” service and included the maintenance technical publications for nearly every General Aviation airframe, engine and propeller under 12,500 lbs., plus all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory documents. Two years later, the FAA began equipping Flight Standards District Offices (FSDOs) with the same service.

• 1980s

• With the help new mainframe and desktop computer technologies, the company introduced many innovative knowledge services that improved how maintenance professionals accessed safety and compliance information. One of these was a dial-in AD research service, called AVCOM.

• 1990s

• In 1993 ATP introduced the first digital U.S. Aviation Regulatory Library on CD-ROM which included the first version of the ATP Navigator®

software platform. One year later the company delivered the first digital maintenance library on CD-ROM. Within a short time the company had

over 100 CDs with regulatory libraries and digital technical publications. In 1998 ATP won the first competitive contract to provide a Regulatory Information System (RIS) to the FAA, and since that time the company has continually provided support and services to the FAA.

• 2000s

• 2004, ATP introduced an advanced aviation regulatory information management system called the NavigatorV™ Desktop Platform

• 2006, ATP combined digital aviation regulatory and maintenance information in the NavigatorV desktop platform. For the first time maintenance professionals could search and cross-reference maintenance and regulatory information from multiple OEMs and regulatory agencies in one, simple software platform.

• 2006, ATP introduced the AskBob™ Online Community. The AskBob community is ATP’s online forum for aviation maintenance where we can all communicate and collaborate with people in our industry.

• 2007, ATP introduced the first European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulatory library in the NavigatorV desktop platform.

• 2007 ATP acquired the ICAP™ Compliance and Conformance Tool. The ICAP tool is a web based solution essential in building a Safety Management System (SMS) foundation.

• 2008, ATP was recognized by the FAA as a Qualified Certification Consulting group (QCC) to assist New Entrant Air Carriers or carriers

changing operations specifications in their certification efforts under 14 CFR Part 121.

• 2010, ATP launched the ATP Navigator® Online Service. Built on the Software as a Service model, the ATP Navigator online service is the industry’s first, single-source, online solution for aviation information management.

• 2011, ATP introduced the ATP Aviation Hub™ Online Service powered by ATP Navigator technology. Delivering a wide array of valuable compliance and safety applications, the ATP Aviation Hub empowers users to utilize the functionality and tools applicable to their specific business.
