February 2019-June 2019: Atlantic Street Underpass Closed

• Old Bridge Demolished in Stages

• Two Track Rail Service Maintained

• New Bridge Spans Rolled into Place via SPMT

• All Tracks Restored after 9 Days

June 28-July 8, 2019: S. State Street Closed/Detours

South Assembly Area

July 8-Sept. 9, 2019 Atlantic St. Lowered/Roads Re-Open

• Atlantic Street Lowered to Increase Bridge Clearance

to 14’ 6”

• Atlantic Street widened with dedicated turning lanes

• Complete All Paving, Drainage, Lighting, Signals,

Markings, Signage and Sidewalks

SPMT Transports Bridge Into Place

installed first with the demo

of Tracks 1, 2, & 4

• Tracks 3 & 5 remain in service

• Rail service restored to

Tracks 4 & 2 on July 2; work

continues on the Tracks 1, 3
