And, since 1998, it has been our privi- lege (with your love, prayers and sacrificial giving), to see the Kingdom come to Taiwan. What a wonderful journey it has been, with Brenda and I continually being amazed by God’s handiwork. This is our final Taste of Taiwan newsletter (though our financial partners will receive a 2014 year-end report). I’ve never been one to keep score, or to dwell in the past. But, through the years, we’ve published more than 200 newsletters (dating back to ’97). We’ve e-mailed more than 800 of the weekly Time for Taiwan prayer updates. Our partners in this ministry, more than 20 churches through the years, as well as a myriad of individuals that I wish I could name here, have been the absolute best part- ners any missionary could hope to have! Has there ever been a need that they have not cheerfully prayed and pro- vided for? And, you know that we could never do what we did in Taiwan without a small army of faithful servants giving their time and talents: Rene Malaise (our web guy all these years), Kathy Murrell (our awesome Forwarding Agent, can’t say enough about her) and Brenda’s parents, Mack & Elaine Wilcoxon (who have printed, folded and mailed our newsletters, as well as handled our personal finances). Wow! How the Lord has provided! Can you see why we feel so blessed! And, there is the small army at Emerald Hills, our In- ternational Services staff of Team Expansion. What a faith- ful team of servants, of unsung heroes, without which everything around the world would fairly fall apart! Yes, without the vision, direction and encouragement of the home office; as well as all the missionaries serving in more than 40 countries; life and service abroad would have been nearly impossible! What a blessing it is to be a part of an organization like Team Expansion! And, I hope, you, our faithful partners, will continue to partner with Team Expan- sion works that advance the Kingdom around the world! And then, there are the people that the Lord brought into our lives in Taiwan. Truly, our hearts are still there! Our co-workers in Taiwan — the best — serving faithfully and humbly. How we have loved serving along-side them. And, our Taiwanese church family, along with the Come Christ- ian Church; we’re so glad to be a part of the Family of God with them! How thankful I am for sisters like Joanne Huang, my secretary, who became like my right hand. How the Lord has used them to teach us about servant- hood, about unconditional love and faithfulness in the face of hardship. Yes, the church in Taiwan is in good, faithful hands! May the Kingdom continually advance in Taiwan until the day the Lord returns! And, Lord willing, we will be back to Taiwan! We have been so very blessed through you! Thank you, one and all! Merry Christmas! May the Lord bless and keep you until we meet again! WHAT THEY’RE DOING!James & Wendy, who were married in May, have posted a 4-minute video on Youtube of their wedding. It is really cute, and the Lord is using them to change the marriage/wedding culture in Taiwan. Wendy just started a non-profit organization called Fly Goodwill, which has already received Na-tional attention. "
