ABOUT THE PROGRAM Athletic Training encompasses a wide range of health care subjects, from pathology of injuries and illnesses, to conditioning and rehabilitative exercises, to nutrition and pharmacology. Graduates provide a link between physically active individuals and the medical community. Piedmont students receive classroom instruction and serve clinical practicums at traditional and allied community health settings across northeast Georgia. Admission to the program is competitive and not guaranteed.

*The undergraduate Athletic Training Program at Piedmont College is accredited by SACS and CAATE, and is currently applying to both for a change in level of degree. We are no longer accepting students into the undergraduate program. The first graduate cohort is expected to enroll in May 2019, and the last undergraduate cohort is expected to graduate in May 2020. Accelerated-entry students may enroll beginning Fall 2017.
