Introduction

Strategic planning is a process that begins with the setting of organizational aims, defines strategies and policies to achieve them and develops detailed plans to make sure that the strategies are implemented so as to achieve the ends sought. It is a process of deciding in advance what kind of planning effort is to be undertaken , when it is to be done, How it is to be done, who is going to do it and what will be done with the results. I have selected an organization and in this assignment I have mentioned the Vision, Mission , Objectives, Action plane and Swot Analysis of that Organization.

Increase the Noise Level of Company and Product

To increase the noise level of company and the products in the market , I have plane to conduct roundtable discussions to the doctors, lectures on our products in which a well known doctor will be delivered a lecture on the mod of action of the product and its features and benefits. Get together of Doctors at dinner and every subordinate will planed this activity once in a month in his area.

Distribution of Targets

It is my prime duty to divide the monthly, quarterly r yearly targets among my all subordinates viewing the area of each subordinate potential wise. So he willingly makes productive efforts to achieve that target.

Product Promotion Strategy

Every member will focus low running products on priority 1 and will give reminder of cash cow products on priority 2 to maintain their Volume. So in this way we can achieve our targets and deficit.

Product Knowledge

To achieve goal of sales it is very important to have good command on product knowledge and the knowledge of competitor’s product. I have planed one day meeting on monthly bases with my subordinate in which we will focus sales analysis on last month and current month and product knowledge.

Monitoring

Monitoring is another important responsibility of a manager. So I will monitor the sales on daily bases, for this every subordinate will report me about the last day progress on next day. I will check the proper filling of DCR (Daily Call Report) and ensure that things are going right to Head office. I will inform to Head office regarding any change in plane because Communication with head office is equally important for a Manager.

Utilization of Company Resources

To get our goal we must utilize company resources properly. Promotional budget and material will be used on key customers who have potential and in this way we can get maximum share and automatically we can generate revenue for company.

Highlight of F and B

Product always sells on the behalf of its features and benefits. So we will focus Quality, features and benefits of the products in Doctor Chamber and will cash the European union GMP certification that Pacific Pharmaceutical Ltd has achieved.

Action Plane

Strengthen the quality controller department to maintain the quality of products. Quality assurance department will train the quality controller to work for quality maintaining.

Make sure of Research atmosphere to the scientist to develop new molecules for the treatment of complicated diseases.

In 1st quarter of the year on Gastro products Company is Offering Gimmicks to increase the noise level in the market which will represent the market presence of the company.

Improve the hiring policy because qualification, experience, skills, self motivation, desire to perform and career orientation, these abilities a candidate should have to compete the market.

Field force refreshers will be conducted after 6 months twice in a year along with managers. It will help them to update with latest studies.

At the end of the year closing, the candidate who will achieve the target he will be awarded by some attractive bonuses just for motivation.

Laptop facility will be provided to the managers and senior representatives to remain in touch with head office because communication must be strong between management and field force.

* Unresponsive attitude to customer requirements that’s why sales volume is stagnant.* Product prices are high so Doctors have to be selective to prescribe them.* Over reliance on a few customers.* HRM department is not developed yet so that’s why staff turns over is very high.* Training refreshers are not conducted on regular bases.* Expertise and control locked up in a few key personnel.

It can get manufacturing order from other companies and can enhance the profitability.

Threats

* Improved competitive products or the emergence of new competitors. * Loss of a significant customer could be a threat for the company so that’s why company Should develop new customers. * High price can be a threat so company should have strong legwork in the market. * Key personnel’s leaving can be proving a great threat for the company. * Limited range of products and customers might be a threat because that is the main reason of Stagnant sales. So company should launch new products and work on new customers to enhance Profit ratio.

Conclusion Keeping in view this Swot Analysis of Pacific Pharmaceuticals Ltd if Company capitalising on opportunities that play with strengths work on addressing of weaknesses on priority and by protecting against threats, Pacific Pharmaceuticals Ltd can make Gigantic Progress in pharmaceutical industry.
