Well, the human version really. How often have friends boasted about something they are passionate about, saying that it ‘works, you should try it’ and we are left thinking “yep, ok, sounds good but it’s not for me”. While I support their enthusiasm and applaud their effort, I am quite happy the way things are – or am I? Maybe it is time for me to step outside the ‘box’ (not just think outside the box). So this time I thought I better put money where my mouth is and not so much step as leap outside my comfort zone; try something new; experiment a little and ‘give it a whirl’ (my favorite saying at the moment). Off course it helps when one has a burning desire to act as motivator. So I jumped into the deep end, took a leap of faith and threw all caution to the wind! It’s not quite as dramatic as all that, but I started going to Crossfit after watching a class in awe and listening to friends babble on about the magic feeling they are left with after class. I honestly believe that if my broken down body (and at

times scatter-brained mind) can do it – anyone truly can! And guess what? Na, I’m not going to tell you – you’ll have to take a peek at the ‘journey into Crossfit’ – the no-holds bar. truth be told. hold nothing back view of the human guinea pig … honestly, give it a whirl !See the journey :
