� a) Validity: measures what it is supposed to

measure.

b)Reliability: Accuracy & consistency.

c)Objectivity :Degree of concordance between

examiners.

d)Relevance : To current situation.

� 1.Purpose: To judge students’ level of

understanding, their ability to express

sequentially and organize the subject

matter.

� F. Clear & unambiguous language.

� G. Avoid vague terms &short forms.

� H. Ask specific verbs (Define ,Enlist

reasons)

� 1.with properly constructed LAQ it should be

possible to test level of understanding /

knowledge in-depth.

� 2. it tests students’ ability to organize and

put matter in logical order.
