The people of the Republic of Korea and the State of Israel share many common values - both are eager for peace, but stand up to defend freedom by projecting power, leveraging superior advanced technology to offset numerical odds. Some of those technologies are highlighted in the Israeli pavilion at the Seoul Airshow ADEX 2017.Some address national security priorities, offering intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems deployed on satellites and high flying manned and unmanned vehicles, as well as land-based radars. Others highlight air and missile defense systems, protecting the nation against rockets and ballistic missile attacks and air strikes.Computerized command, control and communication (C4) systems enable military units to conduct effective operations and have precise strike capabilities, thus allowing small yet effective military forces to counter hostile attack in its earliest stage, harnessing persistent situational awareness for early warning for active preparedness.Some companies also focus on UAV, radar, electro-optics and thermal imaging, networking and electronic warfare presenting advanced technologies. Visitors at ADEX 2017 are invited to reveal the wide range of solutions presented by Israel's leading industries and to explore possibilities for future cooperation with Israel's defense companies.

대한민국과 이스라엘 양국의 국민은 여러 가치를 공유합니다. 양국민 모두 평화를 갈망하지만, 자유를 수호하기 위해서라면 우수한 첨단 기술을 활용하여숫적 열세를 극복하고 군사력을 투사할 준비가 되어 있습니다. 2017년 ADEX 서울 에어쇼에 참여한 이스라엘관은 이러한 첨단 기술들 중 일부를 전시하고 있습니다.전시된 기술 장비 중에는 인공위성 및 고고도 유인/무인항공기에 장착된 각종 정보, 감시 정찰 (ISR) 체계와 지상기반 레이더 등이 있습니다. 또한 적의 로켓, 탄도 미사일, 공중 공격을 방어하는 방공 및 미사일 방어 체계 역시 전시되어 있습니다. 추가하여 본 전시관에서는 효과적 작전 수행 및 정밀 타격을 가능케하는 컴퓨터화된 지휘, 통제 및 통신(C4) 체계를 보실 수 있습니다. 이 같은 체계를 활용한다면, 소규모 병력을 효과적으로 운용하여 적 공격 초기 단계에 반격을 실시하고, 조기경보를 통해 상황인식을 항시 유지하는 등 능동적 대비태세를 갖출 것 입니다. 일부 업체는 무인항공기(UAV) 레이더, 광학, 열상, 네트워크 및 전자전 관련 최신 기술을 선보이고 있습니다. ADEX 2017을 통해 이스라엘 대표 업체들이 자랑하는 여러 솔루션들을 살펴보시며 이스라엘 방산업계와의 협력 가능성을 모색해보시길 기대하겠습니다.
