Astroligical Lilith

Interpreting Lilith can be confusing & tricky, but what else would you expect from this

complex & emotionally charged figure?

First, one should figure out which Lilith is being discussed:

Asteroid #1181 - Lilith, symbol kind of like a hand with a hook tail, can be added to the chart

options on astro.com ~ represents split off, demonized aspects of the feminine, the result of

long standing cultural projections that percieve feminine roles & attributes as shameful,

untrustworthy & dangerous; also issues surrounding motherlessness & adoption/mentoring

Black Moon Lilith - symbol of a crescent moon over a cross, I think the mean value can be

added to the chart options on astro.com - there are both the true & mean values for this

point, which is not a physical astronomical body, but a mathematical point derived from the

positions of both the Earth & Moon ~ the placement of Black Moon Lilith shows the area of

our lives where we can be inspired to find a completely new or alternative way to express &

define the personal empowerment emanating from our feminie nature ~ indicates where a

cycle of destruction & release of old images can result in a renewed sense of personal

freedom & power ~ can bestow great rewards if we are willing to pay the painful price of

letting go ~ one must make a difficult choice or a sacrifice to overcome the urge to conform~ has a strong impact on relationship dynamics ~ signifies the emotional intelligence

informed by the wisdom of earthly instinct ~ is where we are lured into our more self-

centered illusions for the purpose of purging negative desires ~ an energy vortex that cuts

The Trinity of Lilith:

Esentially Tantric ~ Lilith in her several forms transforms subjective to spiritual. Her

impersonal energy opens transparent areas of the mind, not clouded by the weight of

collective judgements or limitations of ego identity. The 3 aspects vibrate at different

frequencies, in chords & octaves, opening channels to clear & spiritualize the emotionalbody. The cycle of our Lilith experience is initiated by the asteroid Lilith, developed by the

Dark Moon Lilith & completed by the Black Moon Lilith.

Lilith inhabits the astral or psychic plane ~ the middle region around the spine which

Lilith show that the energies of destruction can be transmuted & taken up into creative

destructuring of the old civilization, already outgrown.

Unremembered Country:

As I go into the Earth, she pierces my heart. As I penetrate further, she unveils me. When I

have reached her center, I am weeping openly. I have known her all my life, yet she reveals

stories to me & these stories are revelations & I am transformed. Each time I go to her I am

born like this. Her renewal washes over me endlessly, her wounds caress me; I become

aware of all that has come between us, of the noise between us, the blindness, of something

sleeping between us. Now my body reaches out to her.

Lilith is sometimes referred to as the "hand of Innana" or the "mirror opposite of Innana",

also, "the Maid of Desolution" who dances in the ruins of cities & "the little girl left out".

Other names include: Anthichthon, Agrat, Mahalat & Druj.

Also associated with the fixed star Agol in the constellation of Perseus ~ the most evil star ~

also called the eye/head of Medusa.....

In general, especially at the start, the interpretations for both the Dark Moon Lilith (2nd,

hypothetical moon of Earth) & Black Moon Lilith (mathematical point derived from the Earth

& Moon), are almost identical. It seems many of the interpreting astrologers even get them

confused! Then there is the matter of differentiating between the mean & true values for

each & the fact that the ephermis data can be incomplete or erroneous, so all numbers

should be checked & rechecked, for accuracy. This is pretty much a full time job ~ Lilith

doesn't make this easy!! Upon further research, you may want to tease the specific details
