ASTERTEC OY Astertec Oy is a dynamic and creative Finnish company that supplies the latest ideas,

Established in 1999, Astertec has focused on the aquatic industry since 2003. In

addition to consultation and equipment supply to existing water parks, the company also plans, designs and constructs new water parks together with its highly professional partner network.

Astertec currently operates in Scandinavia, Russia and the Baltic countries. Astertec is distributor to POLIN, one of the leading water slide manufacturers in the world. Another key partner is the Swedish water attraction company RECREA. Astertec Oy can also offer other equipment like wave machines, wave balls, flowriders, sprayparks, tubes, rafts & mats, inflatables and safety tiles. All the companies Astertec co-operates with have certified quality management systems. Every product used in Astertec’s projects complies with EN standards and has been tested by TÜV. Safety is our highest priority.

REFERENCES Tropiclandia, Vaasa - FINLAND In early 2005, Astertec Oy delivered a complete outdoor water park to Wasalandia Oy.

This included five waterslides (space boat, two multislides, freefall and a surfing hill) and animation slides for the children’s pool. The water circulation and filtration systems were also supplied by Astertec.

Serena, Espoo - FINLAND In spring 2006 Astertec installed two extreme water slides at Serena Aquapark. The

Half Pipe is 25 m wide and its freefall height is 13 m. The Half Pipe is the only one of its type in Finland and the second to be constructed in the whole of Northern Europe.

Puuhamaa, Tervakoski - FINLAND The amusement park Puuhamaa was supplied with a 70m long Rafting water slide

(which starts as a Black hole slide), Aquatower (interactive water play center) and two kids animation attractions (Elephant ja Snake). Delivery was in spring 2006. In 2011, a Polin Wave Slide was added to the park’s attractions.

JukuJukuMaa, Kalajoki - FINLAND In spring 2004, Astertec Oy delivered to JukuJukuMaa outdoor water park two Freefall

water slides. In spring 2005 JukuJukuMaa placed another order for a FloPark Zone 4 outdoor play center.

children’s animation attractions Elephant and Mushroom, in spring 2004.The following year, Visulahti acquired a FloPark Galaktos 2070 play centre from Astertec.

Kesämaa, Punkaharju - FINLAND Kesämaa, an outdoor water park, ordered a Polin rafting slide from Astertec. According

to the customer survey, it is now the most popular attraction in the park (the survey was carried out in 2006).

Kiannon kuohut, Suomussalmi - FINLAND During winter 2005 Astertec installed the spa ‘Kiannon kuohut’, a complete FloPark

Helsingin Leikkiluola, Hakaniemi, Helsinki – FINLAND Astertec delivered a FloPark Jungle children’s playground to Coinline Oy, and it is

Järvenpää City Swimming Pool, Järvenpää - FINLAND Astertec delivered a 43m Body Slide with a dry-out ending to the municipal swimming

Kangasala Swimming Hall Kuohu, Kangasala - FINLAND Astertec delivered in March 2009 a 40m Body Slide with a dry-out ending to the

PajarinHovi Aquapark, Puhos, Kitee – FINLAND The indoor aquapark was equipped with Polin’s 51,42m Compact Slide (600x900mm)

+ 9,50m Run-out, 41,97m Tunnel Body Slide (Ø1200mm) + 10,30m Run-out, 28,22m Aquatube (Ø825mm) + 12,00m Run-out and Kids’ Play and Fun articles Turtle, Cobra, Mushroom (2000mm) and Mini Rainbow. The aquapark opened in April, 2010.

Dyreparken, Kristiansand – NORWAY The famous Kristiansand Zoo includes also a large waterpark, which was extented by Astertec with its partner Recrea. Astertec delivered over 10 Polin slides, including an award-winning Windigo, a 160m Magic Hole and a 100m Black Hole, as well as a combination slide Black Hole - Turbolance. Vudila Playland/waterpark, Kaiavere – ESTONIA In summer 2013 Astertec installed a 65-m Polin Body slide to Vudila waterpark. Aquapark Cherepovets – RUSSIA In autumn 2013 Astertec installed (together with Polin Russia and HansaStroi) a Polin

Compact Slide (75,80+6,20 m, h=9,82 m) and a Polin Aquatube (54,60 + 6,20 m, h= 7,48 m) to the Rainbow waterpark in Cherepovets.
