The ASSURE range includes single-point and multi-point devices meeting BS EN 1125: 2008 and BS EN179: 2008, suitable for single or double doors. All products are covered by a ten-year performance guarantee and emphasise high security as well as safety, and are therefore ideal for perimeter and final exit doors.

ASSURE 1520 Bar Panic exit device to BS EN 1125: 2008. Supplied with push bar and ASSA Modular 1520 escape sash lock with 25mm hardened steel deadbolt. Suitable for use on escape routes in public buildings and any area where a panic situation may arise.

Single-point escape devices offering a very high level of security whilst ensuring safe exit at all times. The door is automatically deadlocked when closed. A 25mm hardened steel deadbolt may be thrown for additional security when the premises are unoccupied, whilst the escape device ensures free exit at all times.

ASSURE 1520 is supplied with 1520 lockcase and strike; blind rose in lieu of handle with either the push pad or push bar and fixings. Additional door furniture including cylinder must be specified separately. May be incorporated into an ASSA master key system. Available in satin aluminium finish. Please indicate door handing when ordering.

ASSURE 200 Bar Panic exit device to BS EN 1125: 2008. Two locking points and push bar. Suitable for use on escape routes in public buildings and any area where a panic situation may arise, including security, ballistic, blast-proof and fire doors.

ASSURE 200 Pad Emergency exit device to BS EN 179: 2008. Two locking points and push pad. Suitable for use on escape routes in office buildings, staff areas and similar applications, including security, ballistic, blast-proof and fire doors.

ASSURE 400 Exit devices for double doors, comprising an ASSURE 200 two-point exit device on each leaf. Available in both bar and pad versions; the ASSURE 400 Bar meets BS EN 1125: 2008 and the ASSURE 400 Pad meets the requirements of BS EN 179: 2008

Multipoint Locking The ASSURE range also includes a three-point locking system for single doors and a five-point system for double rebated doors, for areas where very high security is required. The ASSURE 300 and 500 is available in both bar and pad versions.

Multi-point escape devices offering a high level of security whilst ensuring safe exit at all times. Suitable for single or double doors. The door is automatically deadlocked when closed, whilst the escape device ensures free exit at all times.

Security is ensured by independently operated 15mm diameter locking bolts. These are made from hardened steel and have a 25mm throw. Available in satin aluminium finish. Supplied with strike(s) and dust-excluding floor socket. Handing is reversible on site.

Information for specifiersStandards

Panic bars tested to BS EN 1125: 2008 should be specified on escape routes in public areas, where a panic situation may arise.

Push pads tested to BS EN 179: 2008 should be specified on exit doors where users are likely to be familiar with the operation of the device.

Usage

The ASSURE range of panic hardware may be used on single and double doors up to 200kg in weight and 1300mm width, with 2200mm height as standard. Please note that the width of the push bar fitted should not be less than 60% of the door width.
