Association Missionary Thoughts Well, we are heading into September with still many unanswered questions. All of the Savannah Baptist Association Churches have reopened only to see a few have to close down again due to people being exposed to COVID 19. This exposure has been experienced by Staff as well as church members. It has left the Leadership of the Churches with difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions. However, the Church Leaderships main concern is for the wellbeing of its Members. We most definitely should be praying for our Leader- ship and supporting the decisions they are making (Hebrews 13: 7, 17). Even with all the uncertainties, we will resume our Ministers Meetings on Monday, September 14 at 11:00 here at the Association office. We will have our meeting area sanitized before each meet- ing and we will sanitize it after each meeting. We are going to ask each person that will be attending to wear a mask and practice social distancing. I hope everyone understands that the precautions we are taking are not based on fears, but out of caring for each other. As our Administration Team will be meeting this month I am asking for special prayer for wisdom from God about some major decisions the Associa- tion might have to make. Please pray that God will guide our hearts and minds in a way that we will understand His Perfect Will for these decisions. We simply desire to be in the Center of His Will. We are praying for all of our Savannah Baptist Association Churches and we exist to help and sup- port each Church in any way that we can. Please feel free to contact us at any time.
