WILD GAMEDINNERThe buffet was long and full at the Annual WildGame dinner held on March 9 at the AmericanLegion hall. There was so much food that itwasn't thought that the crowd could make muchof a dent in the supply, but all did their best andate all that they could .•

The Legion had a bar set up for us in the largebanquet room with all the tables set to makeour event a success. The appetizer table wasloaded with cheese and Bob's and Rob'svenisonsausages for all to enjoy while we all socializedbefore the meeting and banquet. When the tablewas set on the buffet, the crowd selected fromseveral types of soup like venison chile, Reine'swild buffalo chile, fish chowder and duck gumbo.

ZIMMER

For the entre items there were Gerry's wild turkeynuggets, turkey and rice, salmon salad, salmon patties, (Dick's sauerkraut with venison sausage, Judy's famouscorn casserole, and Paula's delicious baked beans. For those not wishing for wild game, there was friedchicken and macaroni and cheese. The dessert tablehad delicious home made apple and blueberry piesand cookies. The Legion hall provides us with a perfecthome for our club meetings that include banquets likethis one. The kitchen is large and convenient, the baris well stocked and run by their own bartender, andthe location is perfect for our members. Come out toour monthly meetings that will be held at the Legionhall for hopefully a long time.

RAY CARRIERADDRESS GROUPRay Carrier, President of the Allied Veterans Council, and Chuck Teller,Commander of the AmericanLegion, addressed our membership at the WildGame Dinner.
