Now that you have made a list, think of your contacts that are qualified leads - the contacts who can afford to purchase large household appliances. Those are your contacts you want to start calling. Keep your calls fun & simple! You can say things and talk about:
• The Cooking Show will be fun and delicious!• These are your training shows and they would be helping you learn• You’ll make a great-tasting, healthy meal and bring the food for everyone!• Need your help, your opinion• Dates available you can cook for them
Start right away. Have your calendar ready with 2 or 3 suggested Cooking Show dates available. Make a simple goal of calling 10 people from your list in the next 24 hours.
Sample script:
“Hi Tim/Tracy, I just started with (name of Dealership) and we do fun & delicious Cooking Shows. I need a little practice and I would love to get your opinion. We bring all the ingredients to make a great meal! These are my training Cooking Shows, and it would really help me out if I can come cook for you. We like to have couples at the shows, and we will bring enough food for everyone.”
Next:
Schedule Date & Time. Make sure you schedule the dates as soon as possible, and don’t be afraid to give suggested dates you have available.
Let’s get started
Make a contact list called a “Warm Market” list. Give yourself 15-20 minutes to fill it out – think of friends, family members, parents of kid’s organizations, religious groups, clubs, etc. You can always refer back to this list and add more to it.
What is the catch? There’s no catch! This is just our way of advertising and we hope in the future if you want to purchase new cooking products, that you consider us first.
What are you going to cook? Healthy fried chicken – it’s chicken with no batter, grease or oil, a salad, lots of vegetables and a cake for desert!!
What are you selling? Everything you will see on the Show will be for sale; however I don’t need you to buy anything. I will just leave you with some information.
How long will it take?I’m new at this, so probably count on 2.5-3 hours. This time includes the cooking, everyone eating and cleaning time - depending on how many questions you have. So it’s a pretty quick and fun time!
Does my spouse have to be there?Yes, in order for me to get credit for the Show, I need both of you there.
Helpful Warm Market Statements
As much as you can, keep the conversation
casual. Here are a few statements you can
work into the conversation to bring up
the subject:
“I need your help”
“I just started with (name of Dealership)”

Booking a Warm
Market “Saladcut”
Another option with your Warm
Market is to book a “Saladcut.”
This is a great way to introduce
Saladmaster and get a Cooking
Show booking. You may find that
scheduling a “Saladcut,” especially
during the day time, will be an
easier commitment for your Warm
Market to make. You can get them
excited about the Food Processor
and to book a Cooking Show.
Sample script:
“Hi, I’m calling you because I just
started with (name of Dealership)
and I thought you’d be the best
person to talk to because ...
So, I need your help. I DON’T NEED
YOU TO BUY ANYTHING. For my
training, I would like to make you a
FRESH GARDEN SALAD and drop
off a brochure. It only takes a few
minutes and there’s no cost to you!

Simple steps to set up your SMU training!
Now that you have Cooking Shows booked on your calendar, the next step is to get set up on Saladmaster’s Ultimate Online Tool, aka CRM. This tool is your back office where you’ll have access to your customers, Cooking Show details, and so much more!
Simple Steps to Setup Your CRM:1. Obtain your username and password from your Dealer2. Visit Saladmaster.com and click on the “CRM Login” at the top right of the screen3. Login to CRM4. Enter your first Booked Show and customer information
There are many more features and functionalities of CRM, but these are the basics. Connect with your Dealer or [email protected] for more training.
Once you are set up in CRM, you can visit Saladmaster University (SMU) – the portal for all of your training needs!
*Your complimentary cookware set will be awarded by your Dealer, and will be identical to the set you initially purchased.
**Track your progress in the Stock Program Action Plan or through CRM, and submit it to your Dealer for verification.
Take Stock & Reap the Rewards
The Saladmaster Stock Program is a great way to work towards achieving your goals while
getting your new Saladmaster business off to a strong start. The Stock Program allows
participants the ability to earn a set of Saladmaster cookware* by holding 30 Cooking Shows
in 90 days.
To qualify, you’re required to meet all of the following criteria:
• Previously purchased your own Saladmaster cookware set*
• Signed your Associate Agreement & be active at any career level below Dealer
• Attend your Dealer’s New Associate Training, local meetings and Open Houses
• Hold 30 Cooking Shows in 90 days**
• Have not previously earned a cookware set through this program
During your Cooking Shows, you’ll fill the role of “Cooking Coach,” educating others about
Saladmaster’s unique cooking method and the benefits of cooking with Saladmaster
cookware. At the same time, you’ll be working towards earning your Saladmaster Set, which
you may keep for yourself, give as a gift, or sell to earn extra income.

DIRECT DEALERWhen you start your Saladmaster Dealership, you’ll work under the direction of your promoting Dealer along with corporate management. See your Dealer for specific details.
DISTRIBUTORComplete all the following to qualify for an interview with your
Sales Director/AVP to advance to Direct Dealer:
Team Sales: Sell and deliver a total of 180 sets (personal or team sales) within a 12-month period.*
Team Sales: 75 sets sold and delivered over a course of 3 months.*
ASSOCIATEComplete any one of the following to advance to Consultant:
Cooking Shows: Hold six cooking shows in 15 days
Selling Sets: Sell & deliver 10 sets*
CONSULTANTComplete any one of the following to advance to Senior Consultant:
Selling Sets: Sell & deliver 30 sets*
Fast Track Team Building: Personally build two Associates on your team who each sell & deliver one set*
SENIOR CONSULTANTComplete all of the following to advance to Distributor:
Selling Sets: Sell & deliver 50 sets,* 20 sets must be personal sales*
Team Building: Have three or more personal, active Associates on your team
TEAM LEADERConsultants & Senior Consultants may qualify for a Team Leader position:
Selling Sets: Sell & Deliver at least 5 sets a month for two consecutive months*
Willing to accept new responsibilities
