Today we stand in footsteps millennia old. May we acknowledge the traditional owners whose cultures and customs have nurtured,

and continue to nurture, this land, since men and women

awoke from the great dream. We honour the presence of these ancestorswho reside in the imagination of this land

and whose irrepressible spirituality flows through all creation.

Opening Prayer

Send your Holy Spirit upon us to be our helper and our guide. Give us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of

right judgement and courage, the spirit of knowledge and reverence. Fill us with the spirit of wonder and awe in your presence.

We pray to the Lord

Lord, help me to be a Eucharistic person.

Give us courage to do what Jesus did: to reach out to someone with patience,

without judgement, and with the sensitivity needed to heal the wounds and

struggles of our time.We pray to the Lord

Lord, help me to be a Eucharistic person.

Help us to live each day in gratitude for the gift of our very being. Move our hearts

and minds to share the gifts of life and hope. Help us to seek freedom from all

that binds us in slavery.We pray to the Lord

Lord, help me to be a Eucharistic person.

May your Holy Spirit inspire our daily living and lead us to go unafraid to tell others about the life that Jesus has brought us
