GENERAL DEFINITION OF THE
TOPIC
Myspace is a social media site owned by a
company called Specific Media LLC and a
singer-actor Justin Timberlake.
It is headquartered in California USA.
On MySpace everyone can create their own
account where they can connect with friends
and artists, discover music, articles and
news and share their own music, videos and
pictures.
As written in the web site you
can:
Discover, share and connect with culture,
creativity, sound, images and people.
Myspace was created in August 2003.
In the middle of 2006 Myspace had nearly 95 millionusers and nearly 500 000 new users weekly.
In April 2008 Myspace was overtaken by Facebook and itstarted to loose 10 000 users monthly.
In January 2013 it opened its new totally renewed morecollective website.
Today Myspace has around 36 million users.

Organizations who are somehow related to music are in my opinion
free to use Myspace for marketing.
Because of it´s nature of communicativeness it could be a good
channel for companies to advertise there in communicative way.
Creating a own account for company could be a place where people
are able to share their thoughts about the company and connect with it
in innovative way, in Myspace`s style.
As accounts are totally customizable from head to the toe; cover
photos, connects and basically everything are changeable, can
companies create one account in their own unique style.
Companies could also have more rights for customization of profile.
