CIRCULAR FOR CLASSES III X

Dear Parents, 5 July 2013

Our aim is to help the children not only to learn but also to help them understand how well they are learning, with thehelp of experts from the field of education. ASSET Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing-is a diagnostic skill based assessment developed by the Educational Initiatives Team of IIM-Ahmedabad Alumni.

Over 1000 schools have incorporated ASSET as part of their curriculum and over 1 million children have takenASSET so far over the past ten years. We at TAFS conducted this test successfully last year with an overwhelmingresponse. Some features of this test are:

It consists of only multiple choice questions.

Provides feedback on students vocabulary levels, their ability to comprehend texts in varied formats andapply concepts in real life situations.

All students will receive a Certificate Students will receive the ASSET MyBook,

It is a personalized instructional material. It contains the detailed result highlighting the students strengths and weaknesses. Practise questions with explanations and answers for various concepts.

The fee for the test is as follows:

These tests will be conducted between 16 Dec- 20 Dec 2013 (during working hours).

Students will not only enjoy doing the Asset tests as they are stress free and require no prior preparation but willalso benefit greatly from the individualised analysis and remedial form of practise questions.If you wish your child to attempt these tests kindly fill in the consent form given below and send it along the requiredamount in cheque , in the name of The Air Force School ( Please write your childs name and class on thereverse of the cheque) in a sealed envelope to the class teacher latest by Monday,22 Jul 2013.
