DilemmaJust before the tests last year we had two able children arrive and one child below level 4 arrive. If this was to be reversed it would have a 30% impact on results. Slight changes can make big changes as to how the school is judged.

Headlines and Issues• Attainment KS1 - Roughly in line. Good levels attained

with more able. L3 reading still significantly different.

• Attainment KS2 - Lev 4+ Very strong results overall. Lev 5 - needs development. Cohort related issues, but should still be a target.

• Progress KS1 - Roughly in line. Progress in writing should be a focus.

• Progress KS2 - Good picture across KS2 generally. Maths coming through as a focus still.

Investigations.

• KS1 Attainment - Reading Lev 3 should be a target. Some 2a close to border. All 2a were making at least 2 PPT. Must be mindful of teacher change.

• KS 2 Progress - Maths made from two girls who have struggled and 1 able boy who over 3 terms made no progress. Very nearly at next level and high initial assessment.
