Ashreichem Israel - ישראל אשריכיםUnknown Author About the Piyut This Piyut, from the Persian tradition, is written in a Jewish-Persian dialect. As the opening sentence of the song suggests, this Piyut is traditionally sung during friendly, informal gatherings.
