Ms. Zamek was so amazed at seeing the monsters that landed in the school’s playground that she could not contain her excitement.

The 4th graders, who were in the gym when the monsters arrived, had not seen any of the them. So, Ms. Zamek described what one particular and peculiar monster looked like.

Fourth graders quickly took out paper and crayons and began sketching the details that Ms. Zamek gave.

1. El monstruo tiene una cabeza, tres orejas, y una nariz.

2. Hay un ojo dónde la boca debe estar, y una boca dónde los ojos deben estar

3. El monstruo tiene pelo corto.

4. Hay un pie en la cabeza, con cinco dedos de pie.

5. Tiene un cuello, cuatro brazos, y cuatro manos.

2. There is an eye where the mouth should be, and a mouth where the eyes should be.

3. The monster has short hair.

4. There is a foot on the head, with five toes.

5. It has a neck, 4 arms, and 4 hands.

6. One arm has a mouth, 3 hands have 5 fingers, and 1 hand has 8 fingers.

7. The monster has 1 stomach, 2 legs, and 1 foot with 5 toes.

8. Also, there is a hand with 5 fingers where a foot should be. 9. Finally, the monster has a green body, a blue eye, orange hair, blue pants, and a yellow shirt.
