athletes on Bison sports teams, where their skill, commitment
and leadership give them a
competitive edge.

For more than 50 years, the annual Commerce Business Banquet has been providing another incredible networking opportunity for students and the business community. With more than 700 attendees, and inspiring speakers such as Jim Treliving, Gail Asper, and Harry Rosen, it’s the largest student-run event of its kind in Canada.
Asper students care about their community. It shows in fundraisers such as Shinerama and 5 Days for the Homeless. Last year, our students raised over $55,000 for these two charities.
The Atrium is the hub of it all,
a bustling light-filled space where
students gather to hear special
guests; promote fundraisers,
events and student groups; or
hang out with friends.
The newly renovated
Scotiabank Technology Centre provides you with access to
72 computers and two high-
speed laser printers. Asper
students have wireless access
throughout the building.
The Drake Centre also
features study areas and
comfortable, furnished spaces
designed for group projects
or individual work.
The Albert D. Cohen Management Library provides
a dynamic physical space to
connect with resources, access
in-person services and online
content, study, and collaborate
with peers.
The Library is home to the
Finance Training Lab. The Lab
gives students access to the
latest financial data and the
ability to complete projects
that focus on real-life business
decisions, helping to bridge
business theory with practice.
The core of the Lab consists of
12 Bloomberg terminals – which
equip our faculty and students
with one of the world’s leading
financial knowledge tools.
The Young Associates Cafeteria is a popular place to
get work done while enjoying
a bite to eat.
14
The Drake Centre is the place Asper students call home. More than that, it’s the heart of a community dedicated to your success in the world of business.
