Yonn RasmussenPresident

Yonn Rasmussen is the Vice President of the Xerographic Component Systems Group in

XSSG / CD&MG responsible for technology, product development, internal manufacturing

operations in U.S., the Netherlands, Canada and Brazil, and third-party manufacturing

operations management in global locations including Europe and Asia. She has held various

technical, operational and management positions in product development, technology and

manufacturing over the years, and has deep cross-functional experience across these

different operational boundaries and in commercialization of technology into products in the

marketplace. She also has many years of experience working with Fuji Xerox in Japan. She is

a recipient of the Xerox President’s Award, and currently holds sixteen patents. She has a

Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from the

Simon School at University of Rochester through the Executive Development Program. She is

the Xerox Executive Liaison for Cornell University with a particular focus on enhancing

recruitment from Cornell Engineering for Xerox. She is on the advisory board of the Materials

Science & Engineering Department at Cornell University. Her other community involvement

interests lie in encouragement of Mathematics and Science education as well as in leadership

development for young people. She is involved in community events to provide mentorship

and leadership for young people in career and educational planning seminars.

Yonn is excited about accepting the national ACT president position and is looking forward to

working with everyone involved to pursue key priorities and ideas to lead ACT to achieve our

vision in 2009.

Pinyo BhulipongsanonVice President & Executive Secretary

Pinyo started with Xerox in 1996 as Creative Services Supervisor at Citibank Graphic and Presentation Department. After Citibank he held several line and staff positions including Systems Analysts, Technology Infrastructure Consultant, Professional Development Consultant, Office Services Program Manager, Managed Services Account Manager, and Technology Operations Manager.

In his current position, Pinyo is managing an IT support group consisting of four IT professionals to provide operation support for the Brooklyn Public Library’s ABC system. The ABC system automates queue management for 750 Public Access PCs at 60 library branches, and provides a cost recovery system for prints and copies.

Pinyo holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Information Systems Engineering from Polytechnic University. Moreover, he is a Xerox Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and a Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA). Lastly, Pinyo is an advocate for Asian employees within Xerox and is currently serving as the Mentoring Program Manager for ACT, the Xerox Asian caucus group.

On a more personal note, Pinyo is married to his wife Lalita and they have a 13 months old son Gavin. His favorite activities include reading, writing, and web business development.

Amy TranVP of Communications

Amy Tran is the Inventory Control Manager of the LA Parts and Supplies Distribution Center in Cerritos, CA. She is responsible for 1 of 2 part centers totaling $6 million in inventory, and 1 of 7 supply centers totaling $12 million in inventory. Customer territories include Western United States, Canada and Asia. She has experience in working with District Part Centers, CSE technicians, and various transportation carriers while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Amy obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside and is about to embark on the journey of obtaining her MBA from the University of California, Irvine. She has been active participant of the Xerox Emerging Leaders Program and Early High Potential Program. She is also an active mentor with the UCR Pre-Business Mentoring Program, which strives on guiding students in the field of business on the right path to success. Some of her interests include volleyball, marathons, traveling, photography and spending time with loved ones.

Franklin ChengTreasurer

Franklin Cheng is currently the process engineer at Western Hemisphere Equipment Supply Chain Product Distribution Center in Cerritos, Ca. He develops and leads projects to streamline the lean assembly of production equipments (Fuji Xerox and Flextronics products) and office solutions to carriers located from the Midwest to Hawaii and Canada to Texas.

Franklin achieved his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California San Diego in Chemical Engineering as well as two master's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Industrial Systems Engineering from University of Southern California. He is a certified Xerox Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and certified OSHA Xerox Safety Coordinator.

On the side, Franklin is an advent member of American Institute of Chemical Engineer (AIChE) and Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) as well as Asian Professional Exchange (APEX). He plays an active role in the Los Angeles community choir Hsin-ya group with his piano skills that does fundraising and community outreach for Tzu Chi.

He is honored to be the ACT treasurer and looks forward in seeing every ACT member at the events!

Leonard GuanACT Wilsonville Chapter President

Leonard started his career with Tektronix back in 1995 as a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Color Desktop printer development team. In 2000 he joined Xerox when Tektronix’s printing division was acquired by Xerox.

He had held a variety of engineering positions (Design, Technical lead) over his career. From 2003, he began to manage programs for the A4 Color Desktop group at XOG. His responsibilities include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, and specifications.  Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of team members assigned to program from various functional departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to functional program teams regarding projects, tasks, and operations.  So far, the programs he had managed is estimated to bring in approximately $750M in revenue for Xerox.

Leonard obtained his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington. Every year he participates in College Recruiting for the Talent Acquisition Team at University of Washington. Some of his interests include tennis, bowling, martial arts traveling and learning foreign languages (Spanish, Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese).

Cindy ChungACT Southern California Chapter President

Cindy Chung joined Xerox Special Information Systems in May 2008 as a program manager. She is part of a team of program managers responsible for managing custom solutions Xerox products.

She started her career with the Xerox Innovation Group as a hardware engineer responsible for FPGA design and Printed Circuit Board design for the front end and printers. In 2006, she joined PDU as a Printed Circuit Board layout designer supporting various Xerox organizations. She joined Xerox Special Information Systems last May.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. She has been active with local Xerox campus events. Some of her interests include community involvement work, arts and crafts.
