ASIA – CHINA, JAPAN, INDONESIAGudrun Sjödén’s 2015 Spring collection The theme for Gudrun Sjödén’s spring collection is ASIA – CHINA, JAPAN, INDONESIA. The spring campaign rolls out in late January 2015 and will reach the company’s customers in 52 countries – partly through the 20 stores in Europe and the US, and partly through the webshop at www.gudrunsjoden.com and the inspiring catalog.

“The Far East has always been a great source of inspiration for me. Throughout my many travels, I have been fascinated by the wealth of color and craftsmanship found in Asia. Our world is filled with fabulous landscapes and inspiring cultures – we found the right environment and feeling for the spring campaign at the Great Wall of China, in Beijing’s Forbidden City and in bustling Hong Kong,” says Gudrun Sjödén, founder and Creative Director.

Beijing & chinaGudrun’s colorful roses, printed and embroidered on padded coats, blouses, dresses and vests are combined with artful jacquard knits. Coordinate with the “dress for the world” in eco-cotton with hand-printed patterns and embroidered borders. All photographed in Beijing and at the Great Wall of China.

JapanWonderful kimono with embroidered cherry blossoms and a printed large dot with thin twigs - we made “Sakura” and “Hinode” in a range of garments with simple generous cuts. Wear them in layers in bold pattern colors against a black and indigo background. Everything is photographed at a beautiful lake filled with lotus flowers at the Summer Palace outside Beijing.

Hong KongThe Far East’s gateway to Europe Here in the urban jungle, we photographed our warm spring fashion with cute little cardigans, straight pants, narrow skirts and a lovely long cardigan with sewn-together pieces. Practical, no-frills straight cut.

IndonesiaNature and natural colors in silhouette-cut patterns, from light to shadow.... Eco-cotton and modal in eggplant red, indigo and black. Easy-to-wear styles for spring days in Europe or chilly evenings in Bali.

Basic – 70% organicThis spring’s essentials product line of knits, jersey and woven includes the entire color scale from oyster, gold ocher, pink orchid, mountain ash, sky blue, and jade to clay and black. For women of all shapes and ages. All made of natural materials and an impressive 70% of the product line is organic.

Accessories – loads of shoes in our own unique designShoes of every conceivable style, beautifully embroidered sashes, plenty of patterned socks, bags in leather and of course loads of shawls. Who wouldn’t be happy after seeing all the unique Gudrun Design spring accessories?

CRISP STRIPES, ASIAN WINDS AND BLOSSOMS & LEAVES Gudrun Sjödén’s spring/summer 2015 HOMEWARE Gudrun Sjödén will present the largest Homeware collection ever for spring/summer 2015. “The world’s most vibrant and unique rugs, stripes, roses and dots, flowers and leaves, Asian winds and crisp rustic stripes – that’s the spring and summer Homeware collection in a nutshell. We’ve put extra effort into all the rugs. The result is 22 different colorways and styles, patterns and materials. The entire collection was photographed in a fabulously artistic way in southern France, Hälsingland, Mälarhöjden and in a dilapidated industrial building,” says Gudrun Sjödén, founder and Creative Director.

Crisp stripes in eco-cottonThe crisp plain-weave ticking stripes were photographed in their natural environment in Mas de Fabre near Montpellier. The line includes tablecloths, cushions and kitchen towels for the simple kitchen life, indoors or outdoors.

Asian WindsWe make the bed with the patterns “Li Wei” and “Meiling” in colorful pink/orange and turquoise/lavender. Beautiful curtains, rugs, bedspreads and irresistible pillowcases and duvet cover.

Blossoms & leaves in the old industrial buildingCombine the “Melissa” leaf patterns with “Rosenkrage,” “Långrand” and “Flox” into a lovely Gudrun mix. Dare to combine large and small patterns – let your imagination run wild! Cushion covers, coated tablecloths, yard goods, tablecloths, wash bags – everything for women who love vibrant colors.

Terry cloth with stripes, roses & dotsDelicious colors and tightly woven terry cloth in sweet harmony. You’ll find everything you need for the pink/red, orange/unbleached, black/gray or blue/green bathroom.

Homeware collectionThe sales launch of the Homeware collection in the webshop and our stores will be at the end of January 2015. The complete collection will not be available at the shop premiere, but will be delivered as items become available.
