Make your Footy Colours Day event a premiership contender with our tips and ideas!

• Trivia & learning: with the help of our lesson plans, use Footy Colours Day to teach students the importance of fitness, health, compassion and community participation

• Competitions: classroom decorating, banner design or storytelling competitions are great ways to encourage participation

• Get fundraising: go the extra mile with a footy themed cake stall and canteen items, sausage sizzle, raffle or online auction

• Get active: with a handball and longest kick competition, teacher/parents vs students footy game or footy themed tabloid sports

• Social events: turn end of term, school sports day or parent / teacher quiz nights into a Footy Colours Day celebration
