I chose to do about Mexico because I have more than 5 relatives that live there, I feelsad for them because it is very polluted there. Mexico is one of the most polluted countries inthe world. Mexico is surrounded by many factories that pollute a lot. As we all know Mexico is avery poor country. In this project my goal is to tell about the terrible pollution in Mexico, what thepollution effects and how we can change it around.

The Pollution in Mexico: Were does the pollution come from? You can look at this over all pie chart and see from what it pollutes most!

As you can see the transportation pollutes most of all. This is because there are millions of cars on the motor ways, roads and streets everyday. I have been in Mexico my self and when I got there I fell asleep of the pollution in Mexico City. Because of this only people that can afford covers or gas masks survive if they live there for a long time. People who can’t afford usually get Cancer or other diseases. The 3 presented one (industry) are actually a very big thing. It still pollutes very much. These things destroy the Ozone layer very much and this allows the sunbeam to enter past the atmosphere into the earth and may strike

people. To make pollution you will usually need people, and Mexico is a very populated country.

The more people there are the more pollution there would be. In Mexico lots of people have carsand possibly most of them are stolen, the petrol in Mexico is very cheap so people buy it and candrive for a long time for a cheap price. Here is a picture of Mexico and an estimation of how manypeople live in different places.

The three main effecting elements are sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide and nitrogendioxide. Sulfur dioxide is toxic, even at low concentrations. It can cause breathing difficulties andeven damage your lungs or cause nosebleeds. Carbon monoxide acts in the blood. This canaffect heart functions, damage vision and learning skills. Higher concentrations can produce moreserious effects and even death. Nitrogen dioxide increases the risk of respiratory disease. It alsoaffects food.

How can we change it around? It is not only Mexico that we can change but also every country that is very polluted. We

can change it by not using so much electricity, but its ok to use electricity from windmills andthose types of things. We can change it buy not using so many small cars but usingtransportation were many people use one or more vehicle at a time. Bicycles and walking is greatexercise and it doesn’t affect our world in anyway. They have also made electrical cars that youcan recharge after you have used it. There are still people inventing new things that wont destroythe beautiful nature. We can do something if we care.

Conclusion: As we all know, Mexico is a very air and other type ofpolluted place. I have been there once myself and it’s a place that I would neverwant to go for holy days again. As I said on my rough draft that I was going tomake a book let has changed. I think that I worked pretty well with this projectbut there could probably have been more written work. Otherwise I am pleasedwith my work. I hope you enjoyed my final draft!
