AS Trial Recording Task - Autumn Term

In preparation for Music Technology recording coursework you are expected tomake a multi track using at least 8 tracks.

Your recording should be 2-4 mins long and must consist of the followinginstruments:

Drum kit Bass Acoustic and/or electric guitar Vocals One other acoustic or percussion instrument.

You can record a cover version or an original song (although you must record acover version for the actual Task 1B).

Although this task does not constitute a piece of coursework, it will form a vitalpart of your preparation for Task 1B and give you an opportunity to develop yourrecording and mixing approaches and techniques.

The Controlled Assessed Hours for the actual Task 1B will begin after Christmasso make sure you undertake this preparation task carefully and promptly.
