O que são?

Árvores plantadas são talhões de árvores reflorestados por meio do plantio de mudas. No Brasil elas são de espécies exóticas (como eucaliptos, pinus e teca) ou nativas (como araucária e paricá). São cultivadas atendendo a planos de manejo sustentável com o objetivo de suprir a demanda de matéria-prima do setor industrial de base florestal.

What they are?

Planted trees are groups of reforested trees created by planting seedlings. In Brazil, they are exotic species (such as eucalyptus, pine and teak) or native (araucária and paricá).These forests are planted according to sustainable practices with the purpose of reducing environmental impacts and promoting the economic and social development of neighboring communities.
