LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP EDUCATION FOUNDATION YEAR-END 2011 This Fall, every fourth-grader at Lawrence Intermediate School toured historic sites right here in Lawrence Township in an interactive learning experience funded by a grant from the Lawrence Township Education Foundation. Lawrence Township Education Foundation is a local, independent, not-for-profit group dedicated to supporting excellence in our town’s public schools. We receive donations from individuals like you, grants from outside foundations, corporations with interests in our region, and the special generosity of ETS and The Lawrenceville School. The grants we fund touch every student in the district during the school year. We believe that every day should be an exceptional experience that fosters educational excel- lence, creativity and achievement for Lawrence’s children. History is just one of the subjects we support. Students benefit from the technology we have donated to all seven schools as well as music programs, outdoor classrooms, art programs, character building, professional development, math, science and more. We also helped to underwrite the initia- tive that led to the exciting new Lawrence High School Academies program. Donations from Lawrence residents are a core reason for the 20-year history of support that has generated over $2.3 million in funding from Lawrence Township Education Foundation. We’re here to help deliver a great education for the children of our town, who someday will create their own history. Please give generously.
